The obligatory photo of my car at Cars and Coffee.

Had to park in the smaller parking lot, and I even got there 25 minutes before it technically starts.

Also, as much as I don't really care for tire shine products, I think I'm gonna have to put some on...

What did you park next to? For a moment I thought it was a Mondeo.

. Plus obviously you can't put it on the tread, and then the dirty tread contrasts the clean sidewall quite a bit:P

!
Solution: drop the car

 jk, yes that is a good point, and it will especially stand out on your car. Try it once to find out would be my advice. Difference may not be as big as expected.

I always thought it looked to glossy personally. Plus obviously you can't put it on the tread, and then the dirty tread contrasts the clean sidewall quite a bit and kind of bugs me... Though maybe in just weird. :P

It is!

That rusty as all get out white Corvair is ballin'

 No :grumpy:

:P But yea, that's what I'm gonna do. Maybe you're right, perhaps it won't stand out much, maybe I'll even like it. Plus currently my tires are filthy, I'd like them to look clean.

No but he's a poster on VWvortex and I frequent The Car Lounge section of the forum.

I've always loved BMW's. However I hated cleaning them.... @Doog if you have children and you still have that BMW or own a BMW, for the love of God, DON'T MAKE THEM CLEAN THE WHEELS! It's absolute torture.

I've heard this so many times. And, honestly... I think they're worth it considering they're almost always beautiful.
But then again I've never cleaned 5000 spoke wheels before.

Probably takes 15 minutes to thoroughly wash and dry all four of them. It's a huge pain in the ass when it's hot and humid outside and there's still heat coming off the engine, and you're already pretty hot from washing and drying the rest of the car. If hell exists, they'd probably make people clean these wheels for eternity.

A late summer day at Lime Rock Park, just as the early morning fog is beginning to lift. An HPDE track day with the SCDA group awaits...

I'm sorry that the quality is kind of poor. These were taken with my phone. The official trackside photographer had a scheduling conflict so this is all I came away with.
