It is though. It's basically a rebadged Commodore with a different nose.
Yessir. Considered doing a Holden conversion on the G8.

My dad's JK got a 3.5" lift and 35's about a week ago (we had everything for a while just didn't have the time to put it on) We still haven't taken it out yet (still too busy).

But seriously...

Your father, I respect. He probably knows what he's doing, and actually uses it properly. A true Wrangler driver.

Those beach d-bags that get them lifted and never actually go off road and talk 🤬 with their typical Wrangler haircut... those asshats, I hate.

"Dude bro, bro dude, that snow bro, almost spun me out bro. I was switching lanes and a strip of snow almost got me bro...."

Ugh.

Because people should not buy the cars they want and modify them as they choose.

Yeah if he the money he'd have a warehouse full of Jeeps and would use them all. (they'd all have chevy engines swapped in much to my annoyance) That warehouse would also contain a crapload of cafe racers, brat bikes, and hard tails as well as a classic 911 and a R8 V10. I can't stand those types of people who make them into pavement princesses or people who buy a wrangler and expect it to be like an Audi Q7.

I wouldn't even call that a "lift" as most people understand the term, so none of those stereotypes really apply anyway. That was done well enough that it just looks like a Jeep that someone put bigger tires on.

Yeah he could but, it's the craptastic 3.8 not the 3.6 so it wouldn't be worthwhile. Plus he's kind of a Chevy engine fanboy (he even had a YJ with a 305 swapped in) He also said he'd convert the JK into a 4 door truck if he had the money as well (and buy/modify a 2 door model).

NEIN NEIN NEIN NEIN!

Then again, he's got some great ideas.

Yeh the 3.8 is/was a bit on the weak side.
