Hi Friends

A bit belated but I bought my ‘realistic’ dream car in March, which completes my ‘realistic’ dream two car garage 😁. Absolutely besotted, it’s better than I could have ever dreamed. True future classic and a dying breed. Long live the petrol powered Super Saloon!

Has the optional carbon fibre roof and Akrapovic titanium exhaust. Only thing missing is those delightful carbon bucket seats but the standard seats are superbly comfortable.

Hopefully make it to the ring in it this year if all goes well 😎

Have a good day y’all

This is my 1967 BMC MG 1100! I wrote some stuff about it in my car thread for those interested:
https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/threads/korvregn’s-kollection.427520/

Update: I discovered something disturbing the other day as I was about to move it; the fuel tank is leaking. I actually had that same problem a few years ago, but I couldn’t find another fuel tank and managed to ”fix” it with some kind of fuel tank paste. So I guess that fix need to be fixed… Again.

Bought this thing two weeks ago and I can’t get enough of it.

1995 Porsche 911/993 Carrera 2 Coupe. The last generation of the aircooled 911.
I am more used to drive older 911s than this, so despite the model being 30 years old it feels quite modern, and with the feeling of a classic 911 pretty much intact. Absolute dream to drive, and the sound… Oh my god.

I don’t see myself ever parting ways with this wonderful piece of german machinery.

As someone who has never even sat in a Porsche this is crazy... I remember when the 993 came out. Tbh I'm partial to the 964, I guess seeing a picture of a red 964 Turbo 3.6 in a car catalog (from the German publishing company Motor Presse Stuttgart) at the ripe age of 14 did have an impact :) Anyway, from the 993 range my absolute favorite is the RS and yours has the aero kit resembling that, not that I would say no to any 993 C2 :) Congrats!!

Oh well done @Korvregn Sir! So very well done. Makes mine seem like a toy 👏

close thread
Thanks, glad you like it! 😊

Thank you! To be honest I also think that a stock 964 is more nice than an equally stock/original 993. More of a classic design I guess. A standard 993 can sometimes look a bit bland (relatively speaking) compared to older 911s, but with some modifications they really stand out!
