Current car:
‘95 Taurus SHO, second one I’ve owned, my first car was a green ‘94 and since then I’ve always had a soft spot for these cars. This one has been an utter nightmare, but body is relatively clean for its age. Thankfully my skills as a DIY mechanic have improved far beyond my abilities when I owned my first SHO, but after 2 years I recently listed it for sale as I’m ready for something a little more reliable. Could see myself owning another cleaner example in the future though no doubt.

Previous car and the one I regret selling the most, ‘88 Fiero Formula. Originally purple before I had had it pained black, quite a utilitarian vehicle as you can see😂 Would love to own another ‘88 at some point, in Formula or GT guise

Don’t tell @Famine 🙂
It looks good in black though 👍

I like the look of the Fiero, very sportscar-y. I actually had this one about nine years ago, for a very short while. I had an Audi A3 for a daily driver, and when I sold it I got a Firebird in a trade. And selling the Firebird, I got this plus some cash instead. I believe it was a ’87 or ’88 GT, I don’t really remember. I do remember the exhaust though, it was an aftermarket one that made big-boy sounds. Sold it after only a month or so, and didn’t drive it much. Fun car though, and in great condition.

I also remember the Fiero Fashions-part of the manual. I too would like to rock a fashion jacket and a Gatsby-hat with the Fiero-logo on the golf-court.

Not much new over the past few months

However, I did run into a bit of a situation:
54356866559_4eacc0007f_b.jpg

This was after the water was already dying down too. Water above the door trim, water got inside, engine took in a good amount of water.. However, the engine still cranked the next day, so the fun began!
54356866469_9ae941d6f8_h.jpg

A video just after I removed some piping, let out a good bit of water as you can see on the floor

So after that I cranked it with the spark plugs out and expelled more water like a geyser out of the block. Next changed out the oil which at first came out slightly murky brown, but after was all fine. Put new oil, new plugs, new oil filter and then tried cranking it again. Didnt start on first crank.

Second crank a minute later and it started up but was obviously running like crap and actually still expelling some water, though it could just be the force moving the water out of the exhaust since it was completely submerged:

Third crank a minute after that and the car was running and sounding completely fine

I did take it to a shop immediately the following Monday and had them inspect it all, and it came back in the clear. Had to be the luckiest thing Ive ever had to deal with in my whole life. Car is running completely fine, in fact the turbo is a good bit more audible, but not by a crazy amount. Must have give this thing a big ol enema.

That said, a tune is imminent!

Beautiful car! If my Fiero knowledge is still correct, I believe that would be an ‘87, ‘88s had body colour rockers. If I do find myself in another Fiero down the road I’d much prefer fastback GT like that over the notchback.

While I owned it I frequented the Fiero Store website often and while I don’t believe they had quite the selection of the Fiero Fashions seen there, they still had quite a few apparel options if you wanted to rep your Fiero style😂

Looks like I took the Polo offroading. But no, this was after my daily commute to work. It had been raining and snowing during the night and big puddles of this slushy mix had formed on the road. My car was hit twice by tsunami waves spawned by oncoming traffic.

To make matters worse, the car wash broke down and has been closed for about two weeks by now.

Recently bought a used 2022 Suzuki Swift Sport ZC33S (at an affordable price with a really low mileage of around 6,000 km (3728 mi)) in Champion Yellow, the hero paint colour. The colour really pops! The car got delivered just yesterday. Drove it around for a bit and it really puts a beaming smile on my face, as well as my family members' faces. With the 1.4L BoosterJet Turbo engine and it being extremely lightweight (970kg), it really picks up and goes! Very happy with my purchase!

In terms of games, I would love to see not only Suzuki as a manufacturer return to Forza (last seen in Forza Motorsport 4), but also the really cool cars such as the Jimny Sierra, Alto Works, Cappuccino, Spacia, Mighty Boy, Hustler, and my own Swift Sport! The car is featured in Gran Turismo 7, Initial D: The Arcade, and Tokyo Xtreme Racer.

Congratulations on your new ride. Had test drive of a manual Swift Sport in the same color. Definitely felt the lightness. Such a cool car. What’s even cooler? AutoLabo Racing are running a Swift Sport in Super Taikyu ST4 class versus GR86s. The race is posted in the Super Taikyu thread. Just over 2 hours left of the 4 hour race.

As a fellow Swift Sport owner: Congratulations on your new little pocket rocket! 🎉

I've had mine for one and a half years now and I can't be happier. Such a nippy little thing, and I actually do sometimes think I should have went for a yellow one, too. Though, Burning Red Pearl is one hell of a colour as well, as you can see in the pictures I took earlier today.

Awesome! Burning Red does look great on the Swift Sport! Nice custom wheels as well!

I can finally also join the club and post my car on here, I got this little guy last saturday ^^

As my first car, I have chosen a 2001 Renault Twingo 1 Phase 3, sporting the D4F engine (16V 75HP) as my own little birthday gift! I am so happy about the condition, which considering all the other Twingo´s I looked at... did not look as good as this one. The only notable thing that´s not good, is that the front drivers seat has a small hole in the cloth.... other than that, its pretty much rust free! The engine runs smoothly, no weird sounds, suspension is good, the transmission is also working properly, and the body in itself is also in good condition! The car has only run 120000km, which isn´t too much for must twingo´s I saw overall. The interior has also been kept extremely well, making me all in all even more excited to drive it soon :D

Hope you all like this car as much as I do (and if you don´t, that´s your opinion ^^), can´t wait to do my first own photo shoot with it :D

There's something indescribably cool about small, basic French cars. 👍

Its just a shame they don't really do 'basic' anymore, i guess they've got to move with what the market requires. The nearest you get to them these days are Dacias, which i know are Romainian but are French owned and kinda fill that gap now.

Congrats to your choice! I grew up with Renault (R9, R21, R 11) and always liked the first gen Twingo. I never got one and am a bit jealous right now. (If everything goes well I am looking for the upcoming all-electric Twingo in 2027...) Have a good ride and happy birthday to you!

Pretty much, the thing is in my opinion, there isnt as much love in these small cars, like, you can fold the seats in the Twingo entirely to make a bed out of it. Considering that I love travelling far, and also alone at times, this makes it perfect for me, as a small single person..... "camper" pretty much ^^

Well I found mine in Germany, and if I understood it correctly, the people I bought the Twingo from still have a few ;) but also, the all electric Twingo looks way better than I thought it would irl, I saw it in Brussels at this big concept car show, hope you´ll get it and have fun with it then!

Also, thanks for the birthday wish :)
