I thought id create this as there is no other specific post about sector times? and when you watch a ghost replay online you cant see your sector times. Also intrested to see who has the best T1/T2/T3 out of anyone.

Ill start it off... my best in tuned car is
T1-24.858
T2-48.1xx

Normal car havent used in about a week so cant really remember exactly
T1-.07x

Ok I remember the tuned from yesterday 24.860 and 48.050 at which point I just proceeded to throw the lap away which is not good considering the actual best lap sectors are 25.030 and 48.260
Its avery interesting point though the sector times because it shows how much it is about been calm and not fast.

Those sectors were similar to my current fastest lap 24.98x and 48.283, then when i nail a T1 which is rare i bin it. When im abit down at T2 i absolutly go for it because theres nothing to lose.

My best in tuned car:

T1: 24.78x
T2: 47.97x
T3: 1'07.04x
T4: Don't remember

Edit: If I put together my best splits, my T3 would be a .850 or even less...

My best in normal car:

T1: 28.092
T2: 48.542
T3: 1'16.161
T4: I never made it this far, was too busy cursing Kaz, PD, GT and everything within my reach.

All the best
Maz

I got a 24.7XX the other day in the tuned, I couldn't believe me eyes, until I spoke to Timo who told me he had got two 24.7 splits. :scared:

My record tuned lap was was a 25.1 or 25.0 which goes to show how much time can be made up on my lap in just one sector. If only I could string things together...

hehe just done a x.454 2nd split in the normal followed by nice a clean hairpins followed by a normal quite clean looking turn 11 and then +0.250 ? LOL I've no idea what the hell I did there but I bet everyone shares this experience. Because that's about the 15th time I should've done a 1.47.6 I'm gonna take a break I think its burning my eyes a bit and I've got a lovely week off next week !
I've order a driving force pro also just for the hell of it LOL (got a G25)

Why not the Driving Force GT? That's what they'll no doubt be using on the rigs at the finals.

As for sector times, I never get the chance to look tbh. But I know T1 isn't worth anything because sometimes you can get to the split but not have had a good exit from turn 4. Sometimes a less impressive T1 will actually be quicker, if you get on the power nice and early and get turn 4 done correctly.

Best in tuned car:

T1: 24.945
T2: 48.202

Only resulted in a 1'36.0xx, very disappointing.

All the best

Tuned car splits: (haven't touched the normal car in a loooong time)

T1 24'860
T2 48'040
T3 1'07'2xx
T4 Turn 11 destroyed (it's 23'3 in my current lap)

Altough i have those splits in occasional laps, if i'm not mistaken, my current record 1'36'058 has the following splits:

25'070
48'400
1'07'3xx

Still looking for ideas for turns 10 and 11...

Ian I have bought a DFP for £37 which is nothing.

T1 is worth everything actually because it tells you how fast you're going so far just like any sector if you exit is slightly slower then all that happens is you can brake later into 6 anyway. I always go through 5 pretty much on the same line with the same speed though.

Well your current ideas are apparently better than mine. You are 1/10 up on me at T1 and T2 but half a second quicker at the line which means you take 4/10 in the area where you say you have problems.

In the tuned car, he best i've ever gotten in T1 is 24.975. My record is with a 25.000. I will usually restart the lap if I am any slower than 25.2xx

T2, best is .48.1xx

And what is the point of posting gap times without seconds?

A bit of common sense and you can make a perfectly fine educated guess. Although he could have done it himself to begin with  👍

With normal car now...

T1: .050
T2: .38x
T3: .935

The seconds I don't know

actual:

T1: 28.050
T2: 54.38x
T3: 1'15.935

because he and most people only take a visual shot from the tenths due the hot of the moment.. thats what matters if you're doing a good lap :P and posted from him we know what he's talking about and thats the advantage of this community.. we know people :D ;)

Yep, I have no clue about the seconds either.. :D

But now that I'm posting I might post my splits also:

Tuned:

T1: .798
T2: .960

Normal:

T1: .994 .956
T2: .280 (in my current lap - doh.. :ouch:)

The next splits are shown in such places that I just can't look them.

All you guys post some fine sector times. It seems my laps are already doomed from the start! My best lap: 1st sector is about 0:25:5, my 2nd is 0:49:8, my 3rd is 1:25:9 & my last 1 is 1:38:411...

Tips anyone?

+ playing time --> better times (talent inherent)

but read the threads about specified corners.. there're some good tips there 👍

Tuned splits improved to:

T1: 24.902
T2: 48.142

Still only running 1'36.0.

Normal car splits now:

T2: 54.494 about two times but no end result worth shouting about.

All the best
