It was first reported that Jaguar has officially stopped selling any new car until 2026, killing the F-Pace, E-Pace, XE, XF, and F-Type. Instead, they'll be focusing all their efforts on their new JEA electric platform

The Jaguar F-Pace will be axed globally in early 2026, JLR CEO Adrian Mardell has confirmed, after it was pulled from sale in the UK.

Jaguar no longer sells any new cars in its home market and won’t until its all-new four-door electric GT arrives in summer 2026.

“We've reviewed all of the Jaguar nameplates,” said Mardell. "Five of the six will run out at the end of this year and a couple have already run out.

"The F-Pace will go on for some markets until the first quarter of 2026, but it will be in smaller volumes.”

The announcement comes ahead of Jaguar’s reinvention on 2 December, when it will reveal a concept car previewing the first in a line of all-new electric cars.

A four-door GT in the vein of the Porsche Taycan, it's currently in testing ahead of hitting the road in summer 2026.

It will be followed by a Bentley Bentayga-style luxury SUV and then a large luxury saloon – as exclusively reported by Autocar last year.

All three EVs will sit on a new, bespoke platform called JEA.



Jaguar will reveal the new EV concept car on December 2nd at Miami Art Week

Jaguar is set to enter its next era with the unveiling of a new concept car previewing its long-awaited electric GT on 2 December.

Autocar previously reported that the radical concept is due next month, and the brand has now said that the “next stage in Jaguar’s transformation” will be revealed at Miami Art Week on 2 December.

The show car is due to demonstrate the new design language that will define a three-model line-up, comprising the four-door GT, a Bentley Bentayga-like SUV and a Bentley Flying Spur-sized limousine – as exclusively reported by Autocar last year.

All three will sit on the long-wheelbase JEA platform, which is being developed exclusively for use by new-era Jaguar models.

In the GT, it will yield a range of more than 430 miles and power outputs north of 575bhp. Prices will start from around £100,000.

Jaguar managing director Rawdon Glover recently told Autocar that the decision to reveal the concept in the US was down to that market’s importance, but added the brand is not disregarding its origins.

The first car of Jaguar’s new era has finally broken cover as it begins road testing for a 2026 launch, just two weeks before the firm unveils a concept that will set the tone for the design of all its upcoming models.

The first all-new Jaguar since the I-Pace was launched in early 2018, this striking four-door GT is the first of three upcoming electric cars due to arrive by the end of the decade atop a new brand-specific, EV-only platform dubbed JEA. The other two EVs are a large luxury saloon and an SUV.

Technical details remain closely guarded, save for what the company has already confirmed: it will pack north of 575bhp, have a range of more than 430 miles and be priced above £100,000.

The company has not released any pictures of the rear end, but Autocar has previously reported that one of the most shocking design elements of Jaguar’s new-era models will be the absence of a rear windscreen. Instead, there will be a digital rear-view mirror, à la Polestar 4.

It is unlikely we will see the interior before the official unveiling next year, but sources suggest Jaguar’s future cabins will be highly minimalist and tech-heavy affairs, largely omitting buttons in favour of touch controls and dominated by a wraparound infotainment interface that spans the width of the dashboard, with a secondary touchscreen in the centre console for climate control and audio functions.

While I think Jaguar's all-in on EVs is a questionable strategy, I at least respect that they're debuting something other than another generic SUV.

Though it is hard to tell what the car actually looks like beneath the camo, the profile looks very imposing. If they want to keep the image of being the brand associated with villains, they're doing a good job! :sly:
 
Those proportions scream RWD ICE to me. The only EVs I can think of that are like that are cars that have both EV and ICE versions, like BMW's EVs.

I don't want to hype myself up, but maybe, just maybe, they're cooking something.
 
The long hood profile is definitely daring but I very much approve of it... Especially the profile of the camouflage
I cant wait to hear what the YouTuber car designer TheSketchMonkey says about this car when it is revealed in Miami, or at least the concept of it....
Especially since he used to live in Florida for a while.

Revealing this car in Miami says it all, on the customers they want to reach out to.... The people who only care about looks, but none of the substances, except for illegal ones.

I don't like that they replace the jag logo in the front with spelling out the name...
I get why they would do it if that's the actual route they have chosen.
It's because they have to define themselves to a new generation of customers who are not necessarily car savvy or car knowledgeable, but rather just fashion and appearance savvy (read also dumb and basic, a la influencers).

It's a cultural shift, it's a brand redefining move and they need it to be in front of people, in you faces.
To imprint the name and the form and the look into people psyche.

The render is is actually not bad,
In a vacuum, it's a nice, clean non-offensive design, that would fit a good large luxury nondescript car for GTA -6.

But i would personally say that is NOT a good detail (or lack thereof) for a Jag.

I hope that the facial will not be with that despiteful recent trend of having two sets of "eyes" on top of each other, I hate that new design language. It very rarely works out IMO, only on a rare few it works.

I hope that the headlights (and LED DtRL) front of the car will have feline eyes 👀 a la Peugeot or recent BMW, that's power for me.

Definitely love the Rear strong arch and mass over the rear wheels....

The new little circle Jag Font is way too cute for my taste tho... But against, JG is not trying to please me, they are trying to please the new morphing influencer crowds...

Personally I not sure that pursuing fashion and trend is a good long term move... In fashion, things comes and go....
You want a strong identity that will last decades, not in months... (But one could argue that decades are made of months...)

I don't claim to know everything, not am I some sort of definitive spoken person for success, so I am just gonna shut my mouth now.... It was just IMHO that isn't worth a cent to Jag. Maybe they will be crazy successful with this redesign.

So Jag want to go where success is guaranteed for people with long successful career that others have already written off before it's even over....
 
It’s like auto union mixed with Streamliner vibes.

I guess the only thing different about this new Jaguar are they never really made boxes before. So, it’s probably new to these new Jaguar designers. Hopefully, at least, it’ll start to bring back the four-door sedan for more manufacturers.
 

I know this is most probably the 2-door concept that @Famine alluded to in the other thread, but I have to say I'm quite liking what I'm seeing so far. I also like the colour palette. I think the brushed copper with that blue really go well together.
Actually the view of the side camera(s) has got me thinking. Does anybody else think we're going to see the leaping cat logo at the rear, given the amount of slats we're seeing in both images (15)?

That's a rear view camera? - I just thought it was a bit of loose trim. A throwback to the BL owned days.

At first I thought it may be flexible like what McLaren did to their Speedtail rear wing. But looking closer (the panels above and below it), it follows the same curvature.

And thanks @Famine for quickly throwing that together. I think in reality it may be a little wider, and maybe the panel will be curving inwards slightly towards the bottom edge, kind of like a de-bumpered Datsun 240Z, perhaps.
