G-T-4-FanAnother thing, doesn't the GT4 main menu song annoy you to death?
I think there definately needs to be a test mode, expecially when you're choosing an expensive car for a race series and you can't afford trial and error. Also when you're starting out in the beginning there's nothing worse than choosing a bad beginning car.RedOakA thing i really like about PGR is the ability to 'test drive' a car before purchasing it. I'd like to be able to do that in GT5. On a single test track for a few laps.
The Vanishing Boy-> I do agree the "drive b4 u buy" thing. Just like everybody said, why buy an ultra-expensive car on where you can't drive it first. I also like to suggest that the corresponding test track to test certain cars:
- For K-cars to 350hp cars:
Motorland Driving Park
![]()
OR
Autumn Ring Mini
![]()
- For higher horsepowered cars:
Grindelwald
![]()
OR
Red Rock Valley Speedway
![]()
(:
LamboracerOK kind of fanciful, but what if you started off in you garage and had to drive to the differnt shops, sort of like test drive eve of destruction. Only not a sort ride but make it like nurburgring long. Not city nfsu, but more country.
The problem with this is that you're making something that's down to human error into a random, computer generated occurance. It would ruin any fun in the game if you had a pit stop accident when you're just infront in an enduro with only a few laps to go and you lost your lead because of this.VVENOM800TTHow about more realistic pit stops, just like IRL. Every stop isn't perfect, maybe your fuel hose thing could get stuck and it takes a few minutes to get it off, or maybe one if the tire dudes drops a tire and it rolls away and he will have to get it. It could all be random. Most stops are ok, say 70%, 5 percent are perfect, and the remaining 25% are all sorts of random occurances.
