Not a drawing per-se, but this seems to be the general "art that isn't cars" thread, so here's something I've been working on. Sort of a proof of concept for a game I'd like to make someday. I think I could get into a rhythm and do the art pretty easily, but I'm going to have to spend a long time working my way up to the coding. Downloaded Unity yesterday, should be fun.

Anyway, here it is:

Right now the shadows don't line up quite right, but that's for the sake of generality. The goal is to allow the reflections and shadows to move seperately from everything else, so it's all on seperate layers. It's pretty fun working that way. Some of the details and dithering in this are pretty ugly, but I think I might just tone it down a bit and start on something else.

The title is "Deity." It is a self-reflective piece, my first abstract piece I've made in this form. It is supposed to represent identity. What does it make you feel?

Yeah, I plan on adding colour to it eventually. Just need to get used to such a small canvas

Yeah it's so daunting to draw something on a smaller canvas and takes you some time to get used to it. Good luck with your digital artwork and I'm looking forward to seeing what it will look like eventually.

Anyone got any tips for pulling the tip out of a Stabilo Sensor fineliner? Mine has pushed in pretty far from a lot of use.
