Your TV settings have little to nothing to do with it. When you upload them to the site they're compressed and majority of the color is sapped away. Which leads me back to something, why in the hell would they include a free USB drive if you can't upload pictures to it?

Actually they have a LOT to do with it. My TV has a much higher contrast than my monitor, so I have to compensate when setting the exposure and brightness when taking a photo in the game.

If I don't take the difference into account, the pics look all washed out and ****** on a PC.

This applies for any other game with a photo mode too. Unless you have your TV and PC monitor set to the EXACT same brightness and contrast settings (Which I highly doubt, due to their different technical nature).

Officially it's to do with allowing easy access to the 360's data storage from a plug in appliance, which can theoretically lead to piracy issues. Unofficially it's probably about control and money.

I think that is one of my biggest gripes. Not being able to take 100 pics, putting them on a jumpdrive ( thats why I thought T10 had one in the Limited set) and putting them uncompressed onto my computer. If I have photos on my storefront for a T10 photo comp. ( and that seems like a great way to enter their comps IMO) I dont have much room to do my own photo retrieval.
