Second pic of the California and first pic of the Lambo are stunning. I am loving these night shots! So, it gets dark at every track then?

It would be if the car was in focus. I understand that it's abstract, but I don't want a detailed view of the road surface.

I disagree, as a real photographer having the main 'piece' centre frame and in focus isn't always the best approach. I like this picture, it's part of a set which gives it more context as you've already seen the car itself in the previous ones so this is; as he said a artistic approach, what's wrong with a bit of creativity? Being different sets you apart from the rest and at the moment most people in this section are posting the same old frame filling images of cars. This guy deserves a bit of respect for trying something different.

And why have you linked something about focusing? He clearly knows how to use it because he's manually focused onto the road, and you can see his other images right? They all look fine to me.

How do you get night on the Nurburgring? I only ever get it on daytime, or early morning or rain. It's fairly annoying really! Great photos though.

What 'SECTION SEVEN' is referring to, is accidentally leaving the car out-of-focus. You don't understand… it's not 'abstract'... it's a deliberate creative decision by the photographer (me) to leave the car out of focus.

…and now I see Speedster502 did a good job of explaining it.

Thank you Speedster502, Rue and Chairman7w for the kind words!
