I don't use Touring, Race, Rally, or other hyper cars...just normal Production or reasonable Concepts. Also, I either use the default gears or slightly towards acceleration.

My top speeds all on test course:

1. Ford GT '05 -> 257.07
2. Cadillac CIEN '02 -> 241.54
3. RUF CTR2 '98 -> 240.67
4. Lotus Esprit V8 SE '98 (high speed gearing) -> 227.49
5. Chevrolet Corvette ZR 1 (C4) '90 -> 221.14
6. Mercedes SL 65 AMG (R230) '04 (acceleration gearing)-> 215.45
7. Holden Monaro CV8 '04 -> 214.51
8. Aston Martin V8 Vantage '99 (slowest high powered car ever) -> 214.23
9. GRAN TURISMO SKYLINE GT-R (Pace Car) '01 -> 209.26

I don't really have any more 700+ bhp cars to test, nor enough money to make them.

You gotta be kidding your Saleen S7 only does 210MPH Hmmm. Lownslow427 kind of living up to your name.. c'mon you know you could make that American muscle go more than that.. probably I estimate about 220-225MPH.. but more than my BMW M3 that does 215MPH.. and that "the cheap one" :drool: :(

Ive had the S7 up to 267 mph. My fastest time is 302 in the Pescarolo PlayStation C60 LMP Judd Race Car.

You tell Mark Webber that, who flipped a Mercedes CLR twice (right click, save as...) in Mulsanne's corner at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in 1999.

I count three flips :P To the person who questioned whether it was Mark Webber, I got this from here :
...when Webber's car became airborne during Thursday's practice session at Le Mans, somersaulting several times before coming to rest.

A new car was built in time for Saturday's race but on Mark's first lap out of the pits in the morning warm-up session, exactly the same thing happened again - this time in full view of TV cameras, drivers and spectators. Mark was again fortunate to escape unharmed, but five hours into the race, Webber's team-mate, Peter Dumbreck, experienced an identical flip and Mercedes withdrew its remaining car instantly. The rest of the year's programme was shelved and the cars were never raced again.

So that's why we never saw those cars again.

I got like 280MPH in a MINOLTA. I don't know the settings as it was like almost a month ago when I did it. but I did have it fully uprgraded and set to highest speed gear ratio so yeah.

Well, I managed to get 1400+ kph with the Suzuki PP in GT3, and I wonder if the same can be achieved with GT4???

Has anyone tried it?

Yes he is now, but that whole Mercedes incident happened in 1999 :P
Hmm, I didnt think he was an endurance racer though. I thought he was cruising through different Formulas and test driving. I just googled it, my apologies.
