I hope the NSX comes back one day :(

Or they should bring out the HSV, which is basically the new gen NSX as they say.

Hey everyone!

This is like my 2nd post! Just registered a few days back, haven't got many miles under my belt yet, but finding the GT5 photomode waaaay too much fun, as I'm a professional photographer myself!!

Hope you like!!

^^Awesome picture of the FD2R. Looks like a Best Motoring DVD cover photo. 👍

Another picture of my favourite car in GT5!!:)

This is the best non-turbo FF ever!!! Now it looks like turbo era is coming, so this R will be hardly beaten.

I kind of agree with you as I love the FD2R as well, but I think the ITR is the better non-turbo FF. It seems to be the faster car in GT5, and I think the FD2 in real life is cheating a bit by using road legal semi slicks compare to the ITR's tires.

Still the FD2R is my favourite car in GT5. :D

You're right, let's make it two best FFs. :) In terms of looks, both has it's own charms, but mechanically Civic is a little bit more advanced and was also faster on Best Motoring. But it's true that DC5 is definitely faster in GT5. Maybe it's in the tires like you say.

In the end, the best one would definitely be DC5 '08 revision

If I was cool enough to own a Civic Type R in real life it would look a little like this.

Special Stage Route 7 by shintastic48, on Flickr

Give me criticism on the photo too.

Specs;
HP:240
Color: Champ White
Body Upgrades: Carbon (Body Color) hood, front and back body kits, front flares, stock spoiler, BBS Rims!
Underbody: Height Adjustable Sport Suspension, Single disc clutch, sport flywheel, sport air filter, sport exhaust

ugh, it's the ugliest Civic created. Seriously. EKs and EM1s are where it's at.

lol I think all the civic type R's look amazing, from the EK9, to the EP3, and now the FD2. :)

Great picture of the DC2 by the way. Very detailed for a standard car. 👍

That picture looks very good, and I quite like how your car isn't fully tuned like everybody else I see online. You have a similar tuning style like me, which I like. :dopey: I prefer to tune my cars like in real life, so only basic mods and no crazy stuff like weight reduction stage 3.

My FD2 is in Championship White (The only colour for a Type R in my opinion) and also has around 240-250hp (270hp for online racing) cause the spoon and mugen version in real life also has about 240hp. :D

Current mods on my FD2:

Exterior:
Rear Diffuser.
Bronze Volks RE30.
Everything else is stock.

Mechanical:
Lightweight windows.
ECU tuning.
Sports Catalytic converter
Sports Exhaust
(Sports Intake manifold - online only)
(Sports air filter - online only)
Single plate clutch.
Fully customizable suspension.

Some pictures so this post isn't just all talk. :)

Thanks mate. I honestly hate people who overtune cars. Usually I have two of each car (premium) one that would be like "daily driver" and the other being a "race car spec." I also really hate when people put upgrades in race cars. In my opinion race cars are designed to work well as a whole power and weight. If you change that I feel you are changing the integrity of the chassis in corners and stuff. /rant though

I'm fond of the Championship White but I think in going to change it to the black that one of my workmates has on his Si. Hopefully I can find it on GT5.

Honestly the more I look at the front flare body pieces the more I want to get rid of them. I'll probobly have to try that out when I get home.
