A very good 5th place for Igor Fraga and a nice battle with schumacher during race 1

But unfortunately a mechanical problem during the forming lap race 2 .....

I'm not back , just a request of a very special car i wanted to share , i like the result . High LSD settings are helping a lot on those MR cars with a lot of rotation on stock settings , too much for my taste.

This tune is fast. Not a lot of tire squeal, so I know it has good balance. Really love this car now.

After the mechanical problem in formation lap race 2 , Igor was able to do a wonderfull race 3 with very hot moments and battles . the best team (Premapowerteam) put his 3 cars in first position , the car seems to be a great part of this success. Perhaps @Igor Fraga can tell us more about this.

I'm going to make some all around settings for the 3 olders GT500 . But , i don't like their BOP GR2 power range at all.
Today i've spent the afternoon trying to match all the 3 ghost on Suzuka, everything stock less the LSD accel, this is the perfect track for this , balancing every of their natural behaviors .

This is the result :

Honda NSX Epson NSX 2008 : POWER 98% WEIGHT 95%
Lexus SC430 Petronas Tom's 2008 OWER 110% WEIGHT 95%
Nissan GT-R Xanavi Nismo :POWER 105% WEIGHT 97%

Going to make some tunes on this base soon.

Hi mate, have you tried the new online time trial? There’s one with this beauty at the Ring with Bop on. I find it pretty funny tough, IMO, the other one with the Civic is better as tuning is allowed.

I 've given it a quick try yesterday with the porsche on the ring. I was still in 60th position today. If time i will go again tonight.
Like i've answered this morning , the civic tuning open event is horrible in my opinion. Grip level x power x light weight is messing a lot with the balance of the car.

Personally , i'll not do any tune for it , at least for the actual time attack event specs.
Light weight , excess of power above those poor grip comfort medium tires , all this mess a lot with the line and balance of the car .
Even applying my most perfect throttle control the car stay very weird to drive this way , not my cup of tea for sure.
I will do one in the future, balancing power , weight and grip combination. Stock , the car is amazing .... for a FF car !

Hi @praiano63 thanks for the tunes above! Redbull 2019 and also the Porsche. Will try them on the weekend. I haven't been playing GTS much lately. Loving Dirt Rally 2.0. You should give it a try. Beautiful game, great physics. Overall a great drive with the G29 Logitech gear!

Btw - since this new GTS time trial mode allows tuning, does that mean that maybe there is a reason for you to again be interested in tuning and maybe come out of retirement?

Hi , tuning time trial cars for sure will be a great challenge. The fact that it is a world event turn it a like big tuning shootout. A lot of very good tuners will be incintivized to give their best and perhaps PD will be able to use the best and more enjoyed setting as a new base standard tune.
In my opinion they would have to let the car with stock power and weight or with BOP turned on.
Too bad the first car they've used have such a bad power / weight / tires combo.

I'm not totally retired , i still tune one car per week +- , sure it's less than the 2 cars a day of GT5 / 6 times .

I'd be interested to hear what you think of Dirt rally 2.0 @praiano63 ! All cars are unlocked in freeplay mode. You don't have to earn/buy them so you can get out and drive whatever you want, wherever you want immediately. Get the Deluxe version though; as it includes Monte Carlo and other extra locations. You can find it cheap on ebay

It seems to be a great game looking at some youtube gameplay .... but i don't have money to buy any extra game lately. Perhaps 25 of december

Going to travel tonight for a trip exploring some news beaches down south , praia da Pipa area and also north alagoas , during 10 days just to check the places for future small daysailing trips. Totally disconected . No G29 , no PS4 .... just the beach.
See you all in around 10 days on track.
My boat was broken on the beach by a big swell

But now i have another little small one that a friend gave me . Perfect for coastal trek and camping.

Japaratinga , very nice place with a little dayboat, clear hot water.... Let's check this better

Quick tune for the actual time attack at interlagos.
Edit: this tune seems to work very well on any other FR drivetrain.
For softer tires increase LSD acceleration till ok out corner.

I didn't do any serious test till now but so far from what i saw from the David Perel test , rain in GTS seems to be a joke.. Under this very wet conditions , he have tested heavy wet tires and they are slower than wet intermediary tires , who are themself as fast as racing super soft tires ..... under a heavy rain. I don't think i will do anything for rain in this game.
Let's see if michelin bring some serious things about this in the future.

Hi @praiano63 I just gave your S2000 tune a whirl around the Green Hell, as well as the new Sardengna tracks. It's very fast and handles superbly. Well done!

Zonda R special TT tune on the way too. 14th position for the moment but still no known aliens on the board. This one is tricky with a maxxed car on racing hard. I already have something good but on Monza you need stability on kerbs for the single chicane. Not easy to combine with grip and speed.

Most of those last cars have a very bad BOP , very underrated for all except the S2000.
Here is the Subaru WR '99 , it have a 107% 107% BOP but to be almost at the level of the top 5 N300 , it must have a 120% 100% . The superior grip is compensed this way by a little lower top speed. Superb Handling.

Hey, thanks for the S2000 tune. I’m having problems duplicating your gearbox, though. I keep messing with the final gear and top speed, but I can’t achieve the same values in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th gears. What specifically should I do before working on the individual ones?

Sorry i do not remember the exact process . It's an all around tune. There is no specific gearbox for it.
It seems i did a classic transmition flip in this case.
Final gear max
Top speed mini
Set each gear
Then final gear again
