Preferred camera angle.

Depends on my mood and how im feeling on that day. I do have a better feel of the car using the hood view, and most times im on a tunning progress, i use this view more. On tandems i prefer to have a 360 view of my car, then i use the chase view.

By the way, the Chase view on GT5 is one of the worst in the videogame history, but its what we have. Totaly stuck on the car movement and purposely hiding the nose of the car... its a pain. Also, they should find a way to provide a camera spin when we move the "looking around" analog, would be nice to see my car in track in every angles every time i wanted.

+1
overall the camera angle selections are very poor. And the extremely narrow FOV kills the sense of speed in addition... :dunce:

Would i be right in saying the 'hood' view is actually from the roof? It feels anf looks higher than the hood/bonnet.

Not a straight foward answer as there are a few different bonnet "hood" view's some cars its higher than others.

Indeed. For example, I think the Silvia S13, and S15 hood views are quite low, and really annoying. I don't have that feel with my S14 or FD :P

Bumper view since GT1. Hood view if the car has a sexy blow-off sound from the turbo. Cockpit view if I'm not competing.

Similar to fitftw, I love to use bumper view, because I love to have a 3rd person view to watch the car. Sometimes I use the hood view but my favourite is the bumper view without doubt.

I just use the view behind the car... In that view i can see the other guys coming closer to me if i'm in a tandem:)

Sorry for my bad english...-.-
