Preludes

I just love these...any post 1996 model does the trick for me. I wondered what you guys think of these cornering machines? And which version is your favourite? Mine is the 97 base model in blue & the 98 type S.

I know, they are nice cars. Just wish the front ends didnt have those horrid square lights. The Eucalyptus Green ones are the nicest.

I'm looking for a 2.0 Prelude in blue, but first I have to get rid of my Clio 16V...I hope to change my car before december...

The 98 type s does the trick for me.
When I was refining my garage choices I was about to eleminate this car. The race mod was ugly and I already had a couple of good spec hondas, still I gave him the benefit of doubt and took him for a spin... pweeew. A couple of corners later I realized the mistake I was about to make. Cornering machine indeed; nothing special about the hp but the tyre skills were great.

IMHO the only thing a prelude is good for is taking the engine out of it...

Yeah, because they look too good and handle too welll...wait a minute. I like the older ones, and I really wish they'd put the 87-91 generation or whatever it is. The Prelude's only major downfall, if any is its weight.

The look to good with those hot crosseyed headlights. And they handle to well with that killer .89G's on the skidpad woooo crazy!.

He could have 0.65 or 1.23 for all I care. What matters is that in the game he corners good. The looks, I´m not a big fan either although the last gens are a lot better. All in all that doesn´t bother me (the mod could´ve been better). Is it real or something? Cause if it is it would be better. You know, at least you´d feel oficial.

For me they just dont cut the mustard with so many other good honda's in the offing. Rather junp in a civic, although to be honest, i havent tried the '93ish prelude - does it have the trade mark dodgy race kit?

All I wanna know is why he kept reffering to the prelude as a person. I mean he kept saying "he" when reffering to it. Scurry..

I have nearly all the Hondas on my memory card 2...the prelude 2.0 is still the one I use most alongside with the CRx, VTi and spoons.

You are supposed to refer to a car as a she. But o well.......... Preludes are nice I agree. I like the mugen prelude. I prefer it over the stock. The older gen prelude is good too(94 vtec gen).

I don't have a 94 in my version...just a 91 2.2 Vtec which is a tiny bit slower than the new ones (extra weight)...

The mugen model's quite good but I'm quite sure The 98 type S has less weight and more Bhp...anyway, I have them all and always go for the 2.0I '96 without race mod...it got me millions @ Midfield against those nasty 591 Bhp AI cars.
