:| Preordered the Collectors Edition, just got a mail "touch luck"

12Game just sent me a mail notifying me they are receiving less stock of the Collectors Edition so, to bad, they are refunding the money and thats that.

2 days before the release.. in other words i have 0 chance of getting the Collectors Edition, i called 4 shops, looked on 3 sites and all sold out.



Balls.

But good for the game, seems like a lot of people are interested this time around.

Wow that's just crummy, if you've pre-ordered they should have to get it for you, but I'm sure they have it written in somewhere that pre-order doesn't actually guarantee anything, despite that being the stated point of pre-ordering.

Wow, this seems to be happening in lots of countries. Looks like retailers didn't realise how much demand there was going to be. Sucks for you but looks like the game is selling really well.

I went to my local Gamestop to get a regular copy of FM4, and I forgot that I took off my reserve to help pay for F1 2011, and that Gamestop was completely sold out! I called the 6 local Gamestops to see if they had them in stock, and the furthest one away had ONE in stock, but it was first come, first serve basis, so I just thought it wasn't worth the drive...

I then went to Best Buy. They had 10 regular copies, so I was going to get a regular one... BUT then they told me they had ONE LCE left, so I quickly snagged that up ;D. I guess I'm just lucky when it comes to things like that!

I feel your pain. My LCE was backordered too. The stores around here don't even have the regular version!

I ordered the LCE pretty late so it was a challenge to find a store which still had one for preorder. Found one at Yorcom and especially asked that I wanted to preorder and that I would not go for backorder. So got one of the last preorder LCE.
Was a bit worried after reading your topic, but received a mail that my order is being shipped.

Hope you'll find a LCE version eventually
