Prize collecting!

So my goal is to get all the prize cars in each GT game. I already have all in GT1, but need 17 more in GT2:
Calsonic Skyline and a second Castrol Mugen NSX from World League
One of the Miatas and Spoons from Tuned NA cup
Nismo 4000R from Tuned Turbo cup
Momo MR2, Weds Celica and Xanavi Silvia from GT300
Takata NSX, Cerumo Supra, and STP Viper from GT500
Impreza Rally Car from Grand Valley enduro
Stratos from Apricot Hill enduro
Escort Rally Car from Seattle enduro
3000GT LM from Laguna Seca enduro
Corolla Rally Car from Rome enduro
Lancer Evo Rally Car from SSR5 enduro
Does anyone else here collect prize cars?

No, I never collected prize cars, which sometimes can be bad because I've always been in the habit of selling them for money unless I know my "driver" would be needing them in the future. I had like 12 different drivers (on 8 different memory cards) back in my GT2 days you see.

Then of course occasional race which comes up and I'll need a car which I sold in the past! Doh!

I think the problem is with GT2 is that you only have 100 garage slots: There's so many cars for sale of interest that you never get much of a chance to use them unless you trade a few prize cars (having 5 memory cards helps, too).

On my first game, I'd saved many of the race and hard-to-obtain cars, but one successive cards, very few...usually I'd try to find cars I hadn't driven much nor tinkered with. I trade the rest: I mean, I'd driven that Unisia Jecs GT-R enough times to go to the moon and back, so I just immediately trade it when I win it. There's one of each model of the Super GT cars per card (GT-R, Supra, NSX), another pair of GT300 runners; really no need for more than one AE86 or Corvette or BMW or Alto Works per card, et cetera.

Only 4 prize cars left!
Escort Rally Car, 3000GT LM Edition, Corolla Rally Car and Lancer Evo Rally Car.
After I get them I will go on to arcade mode, and then, finally, onto GT3.
