Anyone here play Pro Evolution Soccer 3 or Winning Eleven 7?
Discuss the great football game here.

I'll just post my Master League team here:
Juventus, 5th season
GK: Kahn
CBT: Nesta, Cannavaro
SB: Hasegawa(that's me), R. Carlos
DMF: Davids, Cafu
OMF: Pele, Zico
CF: Owen, Maradona

subs: Lucio, G. Neville, R. Ferdinand, Van Der Sar, Almeyda, Zaoric, Buruchara, Mbo Mpenza, Vieri
 
I have a hacked version of WE7.

It contains the awesome gameplay of the WE/PES series, combined with the real stats and kits from the 2003/4 season.

I'll post some screens if you want to see.

I haven't started a Master league team, but I don't use the players from the classic teams.
 
I just got WE7: International version yesterday, but haven't played it yet. Too much real football to watch on TV last night! :D
 
Damnit, I forgot how to play the master leauge properly. I'm trying to buy Damien Duff for my Chelsea. Damnit, the players you start with are crap.

Yes, they are useless.

At the start many players won't come to your club because you can't offer lots of points and also the team isn't known to be strong. Go for the free transfers (I got Owen and others for free).

If you get frustrated, just turn down the 'aquisition difficulty'.

Mbo Mpenza and Lee Chun-Soo are good forwards, and are very cheap, good for first purchases..
 
Hmm, I haven't attempted the master leauge before. I'm getting advice from another friend who has done it a fair few times in the older games. He said try to get players on loan for the moment and go for players in the reserves. The stupid thing is, I put a bid on Damien Duff, seeing as i'm using Chelsea and all their normal players aren't in a team. I'll probably get turned down tho.

Note the real kit's for the Club Teams, but the nationals also have their current kit's as well.

Yup.

And I managed to get one new player for my master leauge team. Damien Duff, he accepted because he didn't have a team. Well he plays for Chelsea, but seeing as I picked chelsea as my team he got bumped out. He is a winger, but he can be used as a striker as well. Now I have my eyes on the Brazilian goalkeeper Marcos.
 
I got WE7 International lately. I have been playing WE since ISS Pro 98 or sth and I must say it's probably the best multiplayer experience i know of (i have multitap)
 
I had 6 and preordered 7 because 6 was so hard to find for quite awhile. Can't you download all the correct kits and teams with an x-port or shakport? I'd love to do that but that would require an additional $30 for the device, which I don't have right now.

KILLER game. Once you move up to 3 or more stars in the difficulty strategy on and off the field really comes into play.

You can get a save with updated stats and teams. But in that patched version there are extra stadiums, balls and the real kit's.

BTW Terecel, if you play WE7 you will notice a difference. It's like playing GT2 and then playing GT3.

This is truly the Gran Turismo of football games.

OK, I just loaded up my copy of Winning Eleven 7: International last night, and although almost all the game is in English the player names (text) remains Japanese. I seem to recall that in earlier incarnations of the game you could change them to English with an option. Can you do this in WE7: International? And if so, how?

And Race Idiot is right, WE7 and GT4 are indeed at the pinnacle of greatness in their respective genres.

You could manually edit them yourself. Under edit mode.

But that's a serious pain in the ass, thank god my patched version has everything translated to english. I remember seeing the formation screen in Japanese when I first got WE7. I was all like WTF OMG!
 
Hand balls. Why are they in the game? Sometimes the opponents win one close to goal, get a free kick in, and score. Poo.

Also crosses often end up as hand balls. Poo.

I have that option turned off, mind you I do have Zola in my team.

My team still kinda sucks though, needs more midfield, defense, offense.......
 
pro evo rules all football games, they all must bow down to it lol, it has awsome game play, the only thing that i would like from fifa 2004 is the off the ball control, i personaly think that is awsome, i havent started the master league yet, im getting all of the cups first.
