PRO TOUR (Spec) Street Class Racing Series

* All races will be held on Friday nights at 10pm EST *
the room lobby will open by 9:30pm

As soon as we get 7 drivers on the roster I will add the dates of the races to the season schedule, which will be the following Friday after we have 7 drivers.

How it works: The season(s) will be 5 weeks long. The first 4 weeks , there will be (2) 30 minute races each night. The 5th week, there will be a 1 hour endurance race.

Example race schedule

Week 1-4
15 minute qualify session (all cars on the track at the same time)
30 minute race +/-
10 minute break
30 minute race +/-
(same track with reverse finishing order grid from previous race)

Week 5
1 hour +/- endurance race (grid order based off of reverse order point standings)
*15 minute practice session before the start of the race*

(must race in 4 season races to enter the endurance race)

*There will be 1 week off between seasons*

Current car
Honda - Civic Type R (EK) '97
397 PP / 185 HP / Sport Hard tires

click here: Season #1 Race Schedule
click here: Point Standings / Weekly Race Results

Everyone will use the same car
oil change: yes
improve body rigidity: allowed
tuning: NOT ALLOWED
change brake balance: allowed
custom wheels: allowed
tires: based off PP rating after oil change

449 PP and below = sport hard
450-499 PP = sport medium
500 PP and above = sport soft

Race winners: There are 31 total cars to choose from to be driven in this league. If you win a race, you get to select 1 car that you don't want to drive the next season. If you win the endurance race, you get to select 3 cars that you don't want to drive next season. After all 9 season races, there will be 20 cars left for the season points CHAMP to choose from to race in the next season.

*when a new season starts, all 31 cars become available again*

After the completion of a season
1st in points = selects the car and a track for the next season

2nd - 5th in points = select a track for the next season
(car must be selected before you select your tracks)

Keep in mind that some cars are not suitable on all tracks, as you don't want to be going down the straightaway bouncing the rev limiter

* I will randomly select which of the chosen tracks ends up being the endurance race *

*you have 1 week to make your selections or I decide*

Point System

Top Qualifier = 1 bonus point
Win both races in one night = 2 bonus points
win an Endurance race = 2 bonus points

Finishing Order = 16 points for 1st, 15 points for 2nd.......1 point for finishing 16th

IF YOU GET DISCONNECTED, QUIT OR DO NOT FINISH A RACE IN THE TIME ALLOWED YOU WILL RECIEVE A DNF

*DNF finishing position is determined by the number of laps completed*

*In case of a tie in points*

After the completion of a season, if there is a tie for the most in points, the driver with the most wins will be the champion. If there is still a tie, it will be broken by the driver with the best overall finishes during the season.

Example
If one driver entered 6 races and one driver entered 5 races, the driver who entered 6 races will be crowned the Points CHAMP

If drivers in 2nd - 5th place are tied when the season is over, there overall points positions will be determined by the same method as stated above. If there is still a tie in points, there overall positions will be determined by who had the best overall qualifying positions. If one driver entered more races than another, then they will be higher in the point standings.

Hello, I have just created my new and upcoming Street Class Racing Series. I am looking forward to racing with you. We need at least 7 drivers to begin (6 plus myself) As soon as people join, I'll add the dates to the Season #1 Race Schedule. I think it will be fun and exiting.

I'm going to add a few more cars to the list , ill also correct the numbers in the race winners section

edit: there are now 31 total cars, from 26, i added 5. So when the season is over the points CHAMP will have 20 to choose from to drive in the following season, after 11 cars get eliminated by race winners. At the start of a new season, all cars become available.
