Hey there,
I got GT PSP since it released, i soon got one of my favourite cars the Sauber Mercedes C9 i soon had a problem i couldn't win against the F1 cars and it really pissed my off. My driving is average that might be one reason, but i also noticed that this is really unbalandced. So if somebody can tell me if it's possible to beat The F2007 with the C9 on level S it would help me.

It's highly unlikely since the dynamics of the F2007 and the Sauber C9 differ on so many levels such as speed, steering response, and suspension types. The F1 cars are about as light as a race car could possibly be and your C9 is more of a road car. You would be better off switching the setting to limit to one manufacturer.

You can win on La Sarthe by slisptreaming past the F1s on the loooooong back straight (you have a much higher top speed). After that just keep your eye on the rear view mirror and block them off whenever they try to overtake. This tactic also works at Test Course as well.

On other tracks you've got no chance though. The F1 has a much better handling and acceleration than the C9.

Ok thx guys but why can't i have other group C cars as opponents??? Yes i know i can switch to 3 C9s but this isn't what i exspected when i saw the intro video there was a C9 racing down Nordschleife with a Jag XJ-R9, a Minolta and A nissan R89 so why isn't this in the game? It's no critics to you i just want to know what you think about, cause i like group c best (and f1 cars not that much they look a bit ugly except the mclaren-mercedes cars that don't exist anymore) sp what do you think?

I know, that was what really bummed me out too. Also, when using the Nissan R92CP you always end up against 3 Suzuki Escudos :yuck: which is very boring. Same thing with the Pescarolo C60 Hybrid. If only they could make them all be against each other rather than Escudos or F2007s, then i'd have more fun driving these cars.

I always get pinned with f2007s when i race my Toyota gt-one race car (TS020). I was lucky enough to beat em in Fuji 2005. I don't get why PD would overkill on that!

Well if you don't want to get grouped with F1 racers, try racing with R2 tires.

Has anyone made any quick tune settings in drift trial and saved them? that canalso lead to different opponents? i tried this with the r390 race car and i got group c cars. when choosing the group c cars change the tires. it affects the cars that are picked.

So I'm not alone with my opinion. I made it on level D I blamed the F1 cars but level D come on I feel like a noob :(

yea you're not alone. it's rediculous sometimes. supposedly if you use the tires it came with you'll get a more fair race but it's never worked when I tried that so I usually use single manufacturer. Certain cars will be matched up against cars the are easy to beat depending on the track. For example, put R3 tires on a Tommy Kaira ZZII, you'll end up racing 2 Veyrons and a TVR Speed 12 but if you go to a track like Autumn Ring or a track with alot of turns, you'll smoke the Bugatti's, if you go to the test track or Sarthe, you'll get destroyed. I wish there was a race mode you could pick your opponents besides Ad Hoc or whatever

yh ive seen this aswell. u are not the only one

Go with the default tires. That's the only way you'll get matched up with the "correct" AIs. With most race cars, this is usually R1s. Putting R3s on everything will give you much faster AIs.

Personally, I just set the Same Manufacturers option on.

The ability to pick your own AI would be nice though.
