Ok I bought a viper and souped it up to the point where I have gotten every best quality product for it (If only it was real). It acclerates at an amazing rate, but it only goes up to 198mph. Its 1100 HP too. Shouldnt it be going faster or is that it? Any suggestions? I don't know too much about adjusting the parts i buy. That could be a prob, somebody please help. Thanks.

It you purchased the Racing Transmission, you can change the gear ratios in the Settings screen.

For beginners, the Auto setting at the bottom will probably give you the best results.

Use the slider to set what type of speed you want.  A setting farther to the left will result in faster acceleration, but a lower top-speed. A setting farther to the right will give you a higher top-speed, but your acceleration will suffer.

Tarb,  I have the exact same Viper as you. Mine reaches speeds of 266mhp. Try changing the transmission from full racing back to normal in the settings screen. If you get good at it, you can learn to adjust the gear ratios like Alt said, but this is no easy task and it takes a lot of trial and error before you get any kinds of results. With the normal tranny equied you should be crusin at 256 and after you equip the full racing tranny and mess around with the gears you'll be doing 266. Hope this helps.

Adjust the gear ratio is not hard at all with a full customer transmition.
1. Go to setting before race start.
2. go to transmision and roll down to gear ratio.
3. roll all the way down to botton to select Auto gear ration setting.
4. Roll the bar to right (which says 'wide'), the 6 light bar in the big window on the left side is your 6 different gear. when the 6th light bar hit the endof right direction (or passover it), it means you can reach your top speed at your 6th gear.

More top speed you got, more slower your accl each gear will be.

Good Luck.

Not true, it depends on the power of your engine.  I'll bet that a Mini Cooper couldn't hope to get even close to the right-most side of the graph.  A hopped-up Escudo however, can get WAY past the right side of the graph.  I can't even see my sixth gear on the graph, yet I can still hit it (quite easily, might I add).
