Above the two Bond Formula Junior cars built between 1959 and 1961 by the Bond Car Company were probably the first monocoque race cars and pre-dated the Lotus 25 on which most observers bestow that honour. They are also very unusual in having front wheel drive, Raced for the first time in 1961 the Bond FJ was not a success and it quickly became obvious that mid-engine not FWD was the correct direction. The cars were restored in 2009 and are regularly raced in Historic events - I snapped this shot in the Paddock at Brands Hatch during a Formula Junior Festival in 2016.
