The Ford Falcon (Sprint) won the BSCC (BTCC) in 1967 in the hands of the great Australian driver and three time champion Frank Gardner. The Falcon was mechanically very similar to the Mustang, but in Europe made a better race and rally machine as it was homologated at a lighter weight - today it remains popular and competitive in Historic Racing.
