After many, many and a little more hours of serious testing i wanted to share my experience fiddling with FFB. First of all i want to acknowledge that SMS/Thrustmaster are already working on several issues regarding TM Wheels and PCars2.
But for now we have to get along with a FFB not really working as intended...
So far i‘ve come to the following settings as they are nearly giving me the information and feeling i am used to:

Wheel Deadzone turned to 0
Speed Sensivity 45 (gives me a more realistic steering experience, tune to your taste...)
Damper Saturation 15 (responsible in feeling the weight of the Wheel itself)

Taste: Informative
Gain: 83-85
Volume: 45 (This is the only parameter i usually tune to individual cars if needed)
Tone: 50
FX: 55

Spring Strength: 0,40

To compare different settings i advise you to do the following:
Choose a car you‘re familiar with. Always Time Attack Session so tyres and brakes are already in perfect condition and temperature.
Use a reference track to test like Oulton Park, Fuji, Nordschleife because they are said to be laser scanned.
Standard weather conditions

For my tests i used the GT4 Aston Martin in Oulton Park.

How satisfied are you guys with the feel at this moment? I have a T300 GTE and I'm hesitant to buy this title because of the FFB criticism, plus ACG said something negative about the steering response, just the feel not really being there.

Me too. I have a T500 and i´m hesitant in buying this game.
How does the FFB compares to the Asseto Corsa?

To all those people thinking of buying this game just wait until it is on special or you find a second hand cheap disc (I am sure a lot will be returned).

On PS4, at this point in time it is just not worth the grief. Hold off if you must have it and wait at least until the new patches start coming out. The day one patch 1.03 messed with my T300 wheel (see my thread on T300 not recognised). Also see the new thread here about PS4 menu load times :-(

The FFB is not as good as AC. It has taken me about 12 hours to come with some settings that make it reasonable but it should not have to be this hard. AC just worked perfect right out of the box (I only hard to tweak strength to personal liking).

The only thing that is stopping me from returning my disc is all the new tracks.

Thank you so much man, I'll take your advice.

Have you confirmed that SMS is working on TM fixes? I've seen complaints, but no acknowledgement from SMS that there's a problem. I've found some inconsistencies with my T300. Some cars are good, some don't work at all. I've also had FFB cut in and out while racing.

I seriously thought the ffb would be fine after pc1, seems most are still not happy with it, people want to race, not spend hours tweaking their wheel. Then even more hours tuning cars, we like sims but its just ridiculous at the moment. Auto tune is needed, consistent ffb across all cars on all steering wheels, seems like pc1 all over again!

Hmmmm, I got my FFB sorted in an hour. Mapped a dial on my wheel for FFB volume and I adjust it while driving.
Default tunes are also fine for me. I'm finding I just adjust aero and off I go as fast as anyone else.

I think that wanting to be spoonfed is ridiculous.

I'm running default setting on my T300.

Flavor: Informative
Everything else default except menu spring I set to 0.00

This feels almost identical to AC and that's all I drove before was AC and was all in on their FFB. pCars2 feels similar to AC and has all the content that AC is lacking on consoles.

Hey guys,

Coming from AC i understand the pain...

I find that this FFB is as close as i could get it, and i find it works really well in most disciplines... It is NOT AC by any means, and i wouldnt say its close either... buts its good just different. Lack of curb feel is definitely an issue as well as tire slip can underwhelming (depends on the kerb, track, speed etc.) Give it a try if you've been struggling getting used to PC2 coming from AC.

Flavour: Raw
Gain: 100
Volume: 68
Tone: 60
FX: 45
Spring: 0.0

I will stress this is the best i have gotten it so far... I also like a heavier wheel than most (on average). I recommend turning down volume rather than gain if its to heavy at first...

Also, this is NOT as good as AC or even close.... but its a "good different" IMO...

In the end we all prefer different settings... hopefully this can be a base for someone who is struggling coming from AC like i was...

You're all running T300s on PS4? Because my experience has been different. Some cars are fantastic, however, some cars have almost no feeling at all. Like wet noodle strength on maximum strength settings. Again, not all cars, and not always in the same car. It's been inconsistent. Nothing FFB wise as good as Assetto Corsa I'm afraid, close, but not quite. This is of course my opinion. The game as a whole far exceeds AC though. Much better when it comes to content and racing experience.

I've been trying LOTS of cars on lots of tracks. I love variety.

Where is this stated officially that they acknowledge this? Because on Another thread people seem to think the physics are fine, and that they are tweakable and consistent. Which I find not to be the case. Informative is the best setting for t300 imo, but the FF generally still feels off.

No, I'm on PC and Raw feels the best for me.
I've got my FFB feeling very similiar to my FFB in iRacing.
