What grade do you need for formula A?

F1 wouldn't touch Daytona. High banking and Daytona's not a Grade 1 circuit. The only other American Grade 1 circuit is Indy.
Currently this is correct, but if F1 wanted to run at Daytona they'd make it happen. Getting an FIA grade wouldn't be very difficult for a circuit that already hosts the Rolex 24. Ferrari runs their F1 cars there, so it is not so far fetched. I think F1 at Daytona, once, would be quite a spectacle and draw great numbers.

IndyCar and F1 will never run at Daytona. The speeds they achieve cause too high a gforce load for the drivers to physically handle. I don't recall where I saw the video interview about that but will try to find it. It was someone from within IndyCar where they ruled it out categorically because of the high g loads.

It may have even been during some of this year's Indy 500 coverage.......

It all comes down to the amount of g forces pushing the driver and car into the track because of the 33 degree banking. At 230+ mph it exceeds 5 g sustained. It's fine to achieve 5 g for a brief period, but as a constant load over the course of a 500 mile race it becomes potentially fatal due to blacking out.

In private testing NASCAR has run there, unrestricted, and hit 240. I surmise that with the Road Course aero package, IndyCar wouldn't actually be all that fast on the high banks. But even without all the aero, g-forces would be worse at a place with a tighter turn angle anyway; like Texas, where it was a legit issue in the early days of that track.

IndyCar will never run at Daytona because it is a NASCAR track and NASCAR will make sure IndyCar will never run there, not because of the g-forces. And I don't think F1 will ever run there, either. But it would be a tremendous sight to see.

Someone who I know is involved in WMD has already called them out on twitter on the car list, with confirmation by the PCARS official twitter right after so yeah, "give us clicks please?".

In endurance races, if you gave the car to Bob, he would drive until he ran out of fuel and then retire.
He would ignore all attempts to come back into the pits so you could take back control of the car.

This only happened to me at Sonoma.

Edit: Just remembered that a lot of the AI drivers would also retire here and I suspect they ran out of fuel because they couldn't get the car into the pits.

Ok, thanks

Bah, I searched my post history for it, but I must have simply liked someone's post instead of commenting on it.

When i open my pCars2 i currently see 55 locations. Dont't forget, as Ian said, historic locations are counted as separate tracks, as that are totally different in layout and also in environment. Other tarmac, buildings, crowds, old style cars outside the tracks etc, so really differnt
As Ian also said, SMS is in deep negotiations for licences with track owners for some tracks to come.
And we, WMD, are only abled to see already licenced tracks.
So don't bother with 46. This number is nonsens.
