Project Gotham Racing...5?

Better get to reading in the FM4 thread, then. The livery editor will return & will allow people to import their FM3 designs. It's one of the game's biggest sale points, so they'd be stupid to drop it.

LOL, T10 isn't going anywhere. One of MS' highest paid developers.

Now Bungie has left, T10 is MS's premiere studio.

Besides, some of the newer cars like the Veyron and DLC cars were laser scanned and they had liveries in photomode.

Alright. I haven't been following FM4 closely. We still haven't seen actual in-game footage of it, yet, but E3 is right around the corner and I expect Polphony is going to be there in some shape or form, so FM4 will be there, as well.

And, never say never. Remember that Bungie was MS's big money maker. The Halo franchise is the best selling Xbox franchise, and Bungie up and walked out on them. Turn10 has proven itself to be an awesome developer and I'm sure if they left MS they'd find work elsewhere pretty quickly.

Turn 10 would actually be a great company to build the next PGR game, but they're a tad busy, at the moment. Lucid games seems to be busy with something.

But...Rainbow Studios, Terminal Reality, DICE, Bungie, Bizarre Creations...all companies that had once been owned my Microsoft and are now independent companies.

MS used to have a couple of racing game developers on hand, but now they've got the one. Which means, they're focusing they're attention there, mainly whilst they look for another racing developer. Heck, maybe we'll see Rallisport Challenge 3 alongside PGR5.

Because all MS wanted Bungie to do was Halo. Bungie split for their own desires, but MS still has a minority share in it.

Terminal Reality was not owned by Microsoft. It was founded by an ex-MS employee, & worked in conjunction with MS til' it helped create GoD, which was later acquired by TakeTwo.

DICE was independent until EA bought them, making them EA DICE.

Bizarre went bankrupt.

Bizarre didn't go bankrupt, Activision killed them. But, now they're Lucid Games, so it's all good.

It'll still be interesting who MS finds to make PGR5. If they can find anyone.

They don't have to find anyone, they can just make a new studio like T10 or just expand T10(the more likely option as T10 is an established brand).

Obviously though if there is an E3 announcement they likely have already got it worked out.

Why do you think Activision closed the studio? Because no one else would buy the company, thus no money income after cutting costs just months prior due to poor sales.

They are not all at Lucid Games, either. Other employees have gone on to start a company called Hogrocket.

Bizzare creation was for sale so that was their best bet. But noone bought them so I think it is unlikely to happen.

What? Activision brought Bizarre in '08 (I think) and then proceeded to screw them over after Blur and Blood Stone not having sold as well as Activision wanted them to.

Yes Activision closed it and basically asked if anyone was interested at them as they were interested to sell that team. During that time there were rumors of PGR5 if they had bought them. But no one did, so all hopes died there it self. Of course some one else can also make it but I don't think it will happen

Back when Bizarre left MGS, it was announced that the rights to PGR were transfered to T10 as custodians and still IP owned by MS.
