Looks nice!!!
Very nice car selection and i hope for some nice tracks!!!
P.S. It will have Panoz and Audi R8 that is in doubt if we will get them in GT7....
Yeah they're keeping the full track (and car) list under their hats for the moment but we can probably guess some of them from the seasons they are recreating. The ones confirmed are Lime Rock Park, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park & Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit
and the Ring but I like to pretend that place doesn't exist

Very interesting, I won't be buying at launch though not in this day & age, not that it's a bad thing I just like to wait till things are ironed out & also just incase of a deluxe version containing all the inevitable dlc like PC GOTYE, PC2 DE or AC UE.

There's already a preorder DLC pack :grumpy:

Get behind the wheel of some of the most extreme examples of high-performance cars ever raced in the GTE Decade Pack and battle it out in one of the most thrilling and competitive classes in GT racing history. Get into your favourite ride from elite brands such as Aston Martin and more, and strap-in for intense Balance of Performance racing action from a fabled era in GT racing.

I don't need much and LMP at Kyalami are perfect for me. I might even buy Rennsport just for the Hockenheimring... Great that people can play Forza Horizon now on PS5 and I am truely happy for them. But this one will make me happy.

I'm still holding out hope that one of the unannounced classes is the Super Touring era of BTCC (or another championship of that time period).
I'd much prefer that over the modern GT3s that are in every other sim racer. It won't happen but let a man dream.

PS Store page is up (no mention of VR as yet)

This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:

Project Motor Racing Announced for Fall 2025

GIANTS Software has announced that Project Motor Racing, developed by Straight4 Studios, is set for a launch this autumn, across PC and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles...
I'm very intrigued by the fact they were able to licence a Gillet & a Panoz for this. Old-school Gran Turismo icons from relatively obscure brands I thought were impossible to get these days. Pretty neat.

Lime Rock and Mosport... yep, I'm sold, probably get it day one on PS5. I fell in love with Lime Rock on FM7. Mosport I knew about it, saw some bits of IMSA racing, liked it. Last week I watched some iRacing Twitch streams with MX-5s on Mosport, liked it even better - then I played Ride 4 for the first time the other day and Mosport was there again, loved it. Looking forward to it!!!

This feels like GTR2 + GT Legends (although a more concentrated season) + modern icons. It's essentially the GTR3 I've been waiting for & I'm all in.

Edit* Trailer showed real footage from I think the '96 BPR series, and then saw the Marcos LM600 in the car selection screen. The Diablo GT1 from that era was also present the day Collins drove the Lister at Silverstone.

There are some gameplay videos up on Youtube from the preview event last week. All presumably running on high end PCs given the triple screens, and only hot laps, but it does look good.

This game looks good. I am glad it is coming out for PS5. I am almost tempted to pre-order but I have stopped doing that and wait until games go on sale now. Should be fun though. I wonder what the full list of tracks is? I can't wait to see the list!

I don't have that much time for racing and that's why I rarely buy any games nowadays. But if something comes around I want I usually preorder the maximum edition. Give me LeMans Ultimate for PS5 and Project Motor Racing and I am happy even if I can only scratch the surface of these games!

To pre order, or not to pre order. That is the question. I know this game is going to be good. At least that's what I'm telling myself to justify buying it early.
Way too early, especially for someone like me intending to play on console with a pad. If it controls like GT7, I’m in. On the other hand I’ve never been able to get the hang of ACC, so if it ends up more like that I’m out. Won’t know until much nearer release.

Cross-platform Multiplayer mentioned on Steam page. That eases one of my concerns about games like this.

Hopefully the Xbox version is a solid experience when it eventually releases.

Impressions out on utube, overtake.gg has a pretty good one. Link below.
It seems really nice overall, and I'm surprised about 10 classes, 70 cars, from old 70s, to 2000s, woohoo hehe.
And 4 classes races, cool.
Sound seems good, looks nice in cockpit.

But even though physics seem complete, there's concerns it seems of how it behaves on curbs, and snap oversteer.
Some impression even said it's like curb physics wasn't done yet, but the physics guy seemed to say it's pretty solid now already, idk..🤞

At least it seems hardcore, challenging, not too easy slidding, etc. Not arcade.
But it could be less satisfying if some aspects are suspect.
Seems older cars are nicer to drive.
Anyhow, hope it will turn out great.
Looks like it will be a hard one for pad users lol.
Edit: but some impression says it's very fun, manageable, after tweaking the ffb, gamermusclevideos specifically has 2 vids on it.

While Licensing can be an issue, I don't recall either brand being particularly difficult on that front (Maybe car availability in the case of Gillet, who are already difficult to find solid information on to begin with when it comes to some of their older racing machines at least in my experience). I think they are just those brands that like RUF the majority of Devs don't tend to care about due to not being in anywhere near the demand (Especially if they aren't at the very least have some current sportscar or are involved in GT3, although it also seems only the British Devs ever go for the likes of Ginetta so who knows).
Wonder why preorder is not available for consoles...? Certainly looks promising. New, quality racing games are always welcome 🤗
Consoles if I'm not mistaken don't tend of have something similar to Steam's Wishlist so you won't see those until you have a lock in release date as was the Case these past weeks with Forza Horizon 5 on PS5.

I’ll wait a little longer. I’m also hoping for Super z touring. Main thing are the car grids. On PS5 hopefully more than PC2 grid sizes on console.

Not sure about Xbox but you can put PMR on your wishlist on PS5, already did it myself.
Oh? Interesting. Was not aware of that, must've just gone live for this game.
