Not really. a1PAPAOSA's PS3 has just died on him, and nuclearfire may encounter problems trying to get a game with PAL users, as ASH32 is pretty sure Home is region locked, and I've never seen Americans on there. Not to mention how the different versions of Home get different stuff.

It takes as little as a minute to create a new user on a PS3 and sign-up for a PSN account in a different region... problem solved... which is also one of the reasons why it is so annoying to see so many people complain about different free content in different regions. :indiff:

Home isn't region locked, i hang out in the other worlds all the time.

I'm fairly certain by region locked they mean region ID locked. Yes, it is easy to visit all the different regional versions of Home, but other than your friend's personal spaces from other regions, you have to be signed into a PSN ID for that specific region... which is no big deal, and takes no time at all to do. 👍

I'm sorry to say that i will be withdrawing from this and all competition for a month or so, as my PS3 is being resurrected, and i redo ALL my licences and earn back all my cars...
This is making me sad just talking about it so I'll leave it at that......

Well that's 2 people now out of the competition without having played any games. nuclearfire just made an AU account then I get caught in limbo after trying to enter The Hub so now I can't do anything in Home.


Edit: W00t, lightning fingures. I managed to press start and select my Home Studio before the intro for The Hub started, so I'm free from the disconnection death trap.:D Never going back to The Hub again!:nervous: Yaaaay, I'm back in the game!

Because after losing my PS3 to some sort of fault not long after Downloading 'Home':ouch:,I'm now wondering if Downloading 'Home', with some unresolved Glitches may have contributed if not caused my beloved PS3 to fail....:ill:???????????????

Just The Hub, which is a room that was actually put in after your PS3 died, is being problematic for some. It's not happening to many, but I'm special.:sly: I've never heard of a PS3 dying because of Home.
 
I want to join, but I have questionable commitments due to time constraints. Sorry guys.

That's unfortunate. I don't have any work at the moment. It's always hard trying to match up with another player on the other side of the world!
 
Boy (or should that be 80Y) am I slow. I only figured out the pairings on the first page - and I am so dissapointed. I drew exactly who I wanted to but PAPA's PS3 (lest we forget) is out of action. PAPA, we'll have a game one day when you get it fixed.

I am very happy I won,:D I think I played a really solid game today and if I hadn't I am sure I would of been punished for it. Thanks again for the games AUSnicko9.👍 :cheers:

Edit:- I have one question though, if you guys ( Animera and Tizzla ) can come to watch, how come your not in the competition.:rolleyes: You could of at least taken the place of the withdrawn guys.:sly:

Well after a rather disappointing first round where only 2 pairings actually got to play, we can now move on to Round 2. Please check who you're paired against and organise a game ASAP.
 
Same here. Looking forward to playing against you Paulie, should be fun. But it could be a smashing, I'm hopeless at pool. Should be a good laugh.
 
I am ready for a new challenge, bring on the next round. 👍 It's a shame so many have had to pull out, but that can't be helped. One thing is for certain, there is no way I am pulling out so 80Y 2C2 to win through this round you will have to beat someone. :sly: May the best man win. :nervous:

:lol: paulie was like that today, I thought he'd been practicing for ages.:lol: I haven't played pool on home for around 2 or 3 months, I was happy with how I went in our 3rd game but it didn't matter because you still wiped the floor with me.:lol:

Well I have practised pool quite a bit.:sly: Normally I get all 8 balls sunk in 16 shots or just under, against mad94d I think every game I sunk all 8 in 11 shots. I have done it in 9 shots before though.:D

Nicko was talking about a bowling comp too, I'm not as crash hot at bowling.:P
