PS2 Emulator

Sorry if there are other threads like this, I searched and came accross ones only from April 03. So heres my question. PS2 emulator? Are they out there? Can someone help me get one and set it up?

Would be greatly appreciated.

Yes there is and it runs GT4!!!
Problem is... it runs just at a few fps, making it not yet playable.

I think there's only three PS2 emulators at the moment, PCSX2 (the one where i've tried GT4), NeutrinoSX2 and PS2Emu.

Either go and buy a PS2 or don't if you can't / don't want to afford it.

Why would you come into this section just to start trouble ? I mean, you could've just reported it and not said anything, but instead you have to try to start an argument ... especially when the overall message of this thread is, "Don't bother even getting it since it'll only run at 4 fps anyways."

Yeah... probably they will run ok only after PS3 arrives...

There's a few old threads about emulators and i didn't saw any mod complaining about it...

Emulators aren't illegal, the illegal is to own a bios of a console you don't have or, to have a copy CD without having the original one. At least where i live and in most countries...

Calm down guys, did I just get reported or something? Are we not allowed to ask questions here? I just wanted to know if there was a PS2 emulator beacuse my pal has GT4, and hes going away...told me I could borrow it. I prefer racing on computers rather then on my TV with a controller, so I asked. I don't see the harm in that.

Yeah, I didn't see the harm in it either when I asked about it in the GT4 section ... Costco had GT4 for $30, so I was seriously considering purchasing it if it would work on a PS2 emulator (I don't have a PS2). After some debate, the thread got locked.

Calm down guys, if he reported it a few days ago then a mod must have already looked over it.

It's borderline whether this subject is allowed on these forums. Alot of similar thread are closed because the conversation is quick to slide to the illegal side.

Why is it wrong for max to voice his opinion before he reports you? At least he has the balls to show you his face, not just report and scurry away in the shadows.

Well, I really don't think this is appropriate as you're talking about circumventing the PS2 hardware. And that is a form of piracy that goes against the TOS and AUP.

So this link will be closed and soon it will disappear entirely.
