It is possible but isnt a certainty.

It would require flashing your console with CFW to extract certain data from your PS3 and would also rely on the hard drive still being in a state where the info is actually recoverable.

Just found a professional company in town that can save and restore data.
They offer a diagnose free of charge so at least it's nice that i can find out
if the HDD is really damaged or not.

They would have trouble since the PS3 uses a modified FAT32 file system.

Yup, the PS3 hard drive cannot be read on anything other than the machine is was formatted on due to encryption. In windows it will show as an empty FAT32 drive.

It will be safer(for your data on your hd) to just power up your console without the hard drive connected.

You'll either get
A) some text on your screen telling you a hard disk should be connected
B) the same blank screen you have been seeing this whole time.

If its "A" then you can go out and buy a cheap hard drive to get you gaming again while you try to figure out how to recover from your failing disk(it isnt as simple as just taking the disk itself into a store and getting it cloned).

If its "B" then you know your hard drive is fine and you are still in the same position you were in yesterday trying to determine whether to fix the gpu, powersupply or another hardware component that may be causing the issue.

Good luck.
