PS3 - X360 converters

I was gutted when the PWTS sold out, But I am happy with my GT3. That hasnt stopped me looking into cable converters, so I may be able to use it on my xbox for forza 3. Has anyone any experience with these? Do they work? thanks.

A cable converter won't work with a wheel as the PS3/PC and 360 use different force feedback instruction.

The force feedback bit could mean the rumble feature of the DS3.

i have used the crossfire thing on my ps3 for mw2. could you use that and just set ff to 0?

What do you mean you have used it for your ps3 with mw2? I thought it only allowed you to use your ps3 controllers on a 360?

They have the opposite product where you can use an xbox controller on a ps3. I have it for mw2 so I can use a mouse and keyboard with a modded xbox controller.

ok, thanks for clearing that up. I've heard it works for wheels, you just have to used a wired 360 controller to trick it. I was going to buy one from amazon, but now shows out of stock.

Try checking ebay... that's where i got mine. Maybe it will work just with ff off Let me know how it works out please. what wheel do you have?
