Try out the Porsche swap for the Citroen DS, put on some sport tires an better breaks...

In my little world, that's as good as it gets!

Was afraid at first that turn will turn into an overpowered and hard to control nonsense, but it is one of the smoothest and quickest rides I have experienced so far in the game(and in the 550-650PP range...)

One thing I immediately thought of 959 swap for the 356 Speedster is the Ridge Racer V version of the Pac-Man's car:

So I went ahead with a spare 356 Speedster and put the relevant engine and livery.

Our new physics will help you to get a perfect copy of this game 😆

I'm calling it: The C-HR will never get an engine swap any time soon.

No Hybrid car in the game so far has had an engine swap still, nearly 3 years after the game's release.

Probably because the devs have no idea weather or not to implement the hybrid system to the swap or remove it entirely.

I have serious doubts as well, and its a shame that PD chose to implement that drivetrain version of the C-HR. Then again, before update 1.52 of October 2024 there was no option to swap more than one engine into a car. They introduced second engine swap options for specific cars with that update. So I still have hope.

So i tried out the LS7 swap into the Volvo last night. Maxed out tune, cannot keep up at SSRX... anyone had any luck with extracting some decent top end out of this thing? I couldn't get it past 405kph without a slipstream.
I couldn't get it to go over 200 kph, because even a slight turn of the steering wheel or pressing the brake (very smoothly) would cause the car to completely break away. Only on Special Stage Route X could I get the maximum speed out of it, but only until the first turn. I even managed to flip its roof over (And didn't think it's possible in GT7). I think there's something wrong with my settings, can you share yours?

I'm not sure I even made it to the turn at SSRX without bailing out knowing I couldn't keep up with the competition, so mine may not be the best, but I'll share it when I'm on next.

I wonder what's the best car to put the Silvia S15 engine into? I do admit I'm curious about putting it into either the Alpine A110 '72 or the Renault R5 Turbo. I do have a spare of the former, too, so I think I'll drop it into there and tinker with the ballast - as well as its positioning - to get a better weight distribution.

I don't think the engine swap makes the A110 easier to drive, so I would go for the R5

I wish they implement a way to see it in your garage and not to have to open the tuning sheet.
mark all of your swapped cars as a "favourite" and you will see a small star in the garage listings, it's an easy way to see which of the same cars has the engine swap.

It would be great if we had just a free field for each car for comments. Also visible in the replays and in the hotlap times sections.
or you can just paint the car in dayglo pink and have big letters in decals saying " S W A P "

Don't know about your garage, but most of us have more then swapped cars.
Same car with or without limited slip, muscle cars with 5-speed not to be limited in top speed, etc.
But I guess you just wanted to be funny :dunce:

This is what we need.

Endurance racing cars have huge fuel tanks.

The engine swaps that came from racing cars like the 787B swap, Z4 GT3 ect, come with the same huge fuel tanks these cars come with.

Yes, not only is the engine swapped, but the fuel tank from those racing cars also, which is why you are able to go longer distance. It has nothing to do with burning less fuel or being more fuel efficient.
It is because of their bigass tanks! 😁

Now, let's say; we were able to purchase an Endurance Racing Fuel Tank for roadcar engines, we could turn any engine in this game into one capable for endurance racing.

Doing swaps from racecars wont be a must-do anymore for longer races, now you can do it with any engine you feel is right for you.

(For some reason I cant turn-off the Bold Text from my phone lol)
