Like controllers that aren't designed to fit the hands of a 12 yr old girl, triggers that have a full range of motion and provide physical feedback and the lack of a need for a "facebook" button... yup, priorities.

Found out some news that the PC and PS4 versions will be almost identical, the devs are shocked on how much power the ps4 has..
Odd, Everything we have heard so far points to Med/High. Are you saying PS4 is getting Ultra or close?

Don't you tell me it's med! I want to stick to high settings, as promised. Even if it's med (compared to pc) I want it to ran at 60 fps!!

This has been the case from the beginning that console and PC are almost identical. Uber powerful pc's will have an advantage obviously. I don't think there's anything shocking about the PS4, specs are well documented and it seems it's performing as expected.

Apart from the AF problems it's been having.

I am using a Vita, but it would also be possible with Sony phones/tablets paired with a Dualshock 4 controller paired via Bluetooth.

Having trouble deciding?

I think remote play on Vita will be the envy of PC, Wii U and Xboners.

Why would I envy such a thing? I would not want to play on a Vita even if I had one which I would not get even if I had a PS4. Instead I will be playing using a PC a big screen display a Fanatec wheel with club sport pedals all with a very comfortable custom made cockpit. Compare that to playing on a tiny screen using your thumbs for input and tell me who should be envious not to mention that I have a million or so more apps to choose from as well as a full keyboard and mouse for input.

You can't take your cockpit on the bus, train, to work, to school.

I wouldn't use my Vita while sitting in my rig... unless it can be used as a rear view mirror

Not sure why you would want a full keyboard and mouse for driving games though. Double click for handbrake

No, I'm not envious, not with that attitude.

True but I would not want to play under those conditions anyway. If I'm going to play a racing game then I want to play it using my proper setup not some tiny little portable device. I've got plenty of other things to do when I am not at home.

I'm sure that may appeal to some but I surely would not envy it one bit.

Is that really something to compare, though? You're only adding on to the price of the game. It wouldnt be something I would consider if I had to choose between one or the other. I cant seem to get a liking to hand helds any more either. I tried with a DS but got rid of it within months of having it.

If it came free with it, then yeah maybe.

I haven't used or seen an xbox one controller but the ps4 controller's sticks wear very quickly. That being said, if you don't want to buy a lot of controllers, get the xbox one version.

Sticks are covered by warranty, had my day1 controller wear and they sent me another. Pretty sure the compound feels tougher on the new controller also.

Mine was quite cheap off ebay before PS4 launched. They are much better for gaming than a DS, phone or tablet.

It being better isnt really something I care for, though. I dont like handhelds in general. The only reason I have a phone is because my girlfriend convinced me to get one, just in case of an emergency. Sure I'll play with it when I get it, but the interest runs dry pretty fast.

Still though, unless it came free then I dont think it would make much of a difference, in my opinion.

I don't understand why would it make more difference being free? Sure, more people would have one, but that makes no difference to me.

It makes a difference, to me, because its not part of the original purchase. In order to have that intended fun, not only would they have to purchase the game, but spend another $100~(dont know how much they cost, fill free to correct me.) on top of that.

If every single PS4 came with this originally, that would be a reason to be jealous, and that would probably be a reason to choose it over the Xbox.

I got the two controllers on launch day, so they have been off warranty for quite some time...

Maybe I'm just lucky but both my Ps4 controller still last even though I used one of them already on the PS3 for a year

The sticks on my PS4 controller lasted about a month before the rubber coating began to tear, an eventually split quite badly in the end. I got some super cheap covers that went over the sticks. All good again. I got mine from here. http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00GH7UA32/?tag=gtplanetuk-20
i pretty much bought the same things and put the nippled ones on my DS, but primarily to stop my thumb slipping of the sticks, which has helped hugely. wear prevention is a nice bonus

Project cars just showed the first footage of the xbox version on twitter,it doesnt look as good as the ps4 and pc,go check it out..ps4 with project Morpheus is the way to go,it will be epic...Snake OilerX
