Having major issues with the playstation. Looks like it might have to go back to Sony :indiff:. Can't get any games to work nothing will download/update, can't acces PS store. Error code ce-36244-9 :banghead:

SNL may be on hold for a bit
Oh no! U got warranty have you found what the problem is ?

It's not quite a year old so will be phoning Sony in the morning (if they're open Sunday's) to see what they say.

I've done a factory reset, database rebuild and played about with the DNS settings. Everything working fine now except I can't download anything. That means I can't do any updates so no online for me! :banghead: It downloads for about 30 seconds then restarts itself. Does that for about 10 mins then comes up with that error code.

Have you seen/tried this @Kkj10?:

I remember i had a similar problem on the PS3 a couple of years back, and it turned out my PS3 and a then recently aquired mobile phone were using the same DNS codes and were conflicting each other........

Thanks @HammyMansell. Tried all that. Only thing left to do is to set up a DMZ in the morning see if that helps

Update: Looks like the problem lies in my router. Will get the PS4 onto a wired connection to get it up to date as a short term measure. Will contact my provider tomorrow to get a replacement 👍

SNL will go ahead as planned tomorrow :gtpflag:

Update 2: Still haven't been able to sort my internet issues. Just got the wifi back working just now but it is very slow. PS4, iPad and iPhone will not download any update or apps from the respective stores. My ISP have no idea what's causing this and have "escalated it to their networking team". I will get a reply "within 48 hours". :irked:

@Football67611 is hosting a room tonight at 8pm. Sorry for the short notice but SNL is postponed until my internet woes are fixed :indiff:

So the problem lies with not only my internet but the whole the area has some sort of "network outage" according to my ISP. It only affects downloads for some reason so I can still get online but I need to update all my games first due to me originally thinking it was a fault with my PS4 so I initialised it :dunce: Just need to wait and see how long it takes them to fix it! :banghead:

Going to do a roll call to see how many are still intrested as I know @Skaankypuppy's series starts this week. If there's enough intrest we will keep it going fortnightly as usual. If not it will be postponed until the GT3 series is finished. So if you'd rather concentrate on the championship then please let me know. Last thing I want is a half empty lobby when I've still got more than 10 names on the list.

Really sorry dude, I'm kinda hot on the championship at the minute, haven't even checked out CRAP nights for a long time. Sorry again fella, but I'll be around yh.

BTW, if your ISP isn't BT, I'm pretty sure that you download speed will be getting throttled at peak times, which is usually 18.00 hrs to around 22.30 hrs. Just a heads up for you fella.

No need to apologise. I fully understand if some of you guys would rather concentrate on a championship. After all it's the demise of the old championship that got me to make SNL a more regular thing. I would rather people were honest now so I know what room numbers to expect. My ISP is Sky. They say it's totally unlimited and that they will never throttle speeds. I guess that doesn't mean BT won't slow me down from their end!

I'm looking forward to it too. Even if we have a mass exodus to the GT3 series we will still run the odd SNL here and there when I can. As soon as my internet is back on I'll let you guys know and we can run the German Tour :gtpflag:

I'm guessing by the lack of activity here that there is not much interest at this point in time? It would be nice to know either way if there's a point to hosting a room next Sunday.

I don't understand why they don't release the patches at the same time for everyone or a least within a day of each other to make up for the time differences. I take it you guys can still race online? Just not with us? :indiff:

I can race other people in the US, but all my peeps are from the UK. I even tried a public lobby and there were only 7 lobbies with 3 people each in them.

Ok guys due to the delayed GT3 series I'll be hosting the postponed German Tour tonight! All are welcome, no sign up required, just turn up and race!

Can i join Kkj? What time does it begin?

Of course. All the info is in the OP. We're racing what we would of been doing last week if it wasn't for my internet woes! :irked:

Your welcome @Spooky Wooky. I'm gutted about the pit bug at the Nurburgring. I was having a great battle with acekiller for the lead up to that point. It even gave me a cut corner penalty on the way in! Perhaps that was delayed from the other night at Zolder ;)

Right guys, time for a bit of a shake up of SNL. Since the lobby's aren't quite full I'm removing the need to sign up. Also, as I'm sure you are all aware @Skaankypuppy's GT3 series starts tomorrow. As such the start time will be moved to after the series race is finished, approximately 21:30 BST. There will be no SNL on the 1st of November. The event format will remain unchanged. Three 15 minute races with a 10 min qualifying before each, and a final 30 minute race with a forced (by tyre wear) pit stop. Reverse grids will used when the option becomes available.

Penalty's will be switched off. All four wheels must not leave the track limits defined by the white lines at any one time. If you accidentally cut the track and gain an advantage then you MUST give that advantage back. If you've gained a place, give it back, even if that means losing out on more places that you've gained. When entering or exiting the pits you will not to cross over the white pit lines. If there is no defined pit exit line then you must wait until the first corner to defend, normal rules will then apply. The link to the general racing guidelines is in the first post of this thread.

The next SNL will be Sunday the 4th October and will held fortnightly after that (excluding the 1st of November). I'll update the OP fully tomorrow with the above and the all important car & track combo.
