PS5 - wheel, pedals and chair

I couldn’t find a thread to just post in. So if there is one let me know and I’ll delete and post there.

Looking to get myself a wheel and chair/rig set up.

Looked at the Logitech stuff but looking to get the whole chair, rig, pedals and wheel. I looked at some on eBay which look diy and not sure I want to risk some bodged job so open to suggestions on off the shelf stuff.

TV doesn’t need to be included but I’d need to be able to source one that fits the rig i assume?

Budget - open to suggestions but logitech wheel rather than the super expensive fanatec stuff is where I’m headed and will upgrade stuff as I go if I like it. I’m a fairly quick driver on controller but struggle doing manual on it, always have been better on wheel with flaps or a gearstick.

Any advice much appreciated.

Very much depends on what your budget is, how much space you have and what platforms you are looking at.

Also are you looking for a static rig or something that can be 'put away' after use?

thanks. Static is fine, I have two spare rooms at the moment and I’m not sure a desk with a wheel clamped in is any good?

Budget is just, whatever but nothing mega expensive (£1k+) but I can upgrade if I get into it a lot or get better.

Logitech wheels are around £300 for a decent one? Idk

Something like the GT Omega ART would be a good budget rig (I run the Titan and if you can run to that it would certainly future-proof), a profile rig would be out of budget for this (keep in mind you would need to add in a seat). Combo would come in around £300-ish for that. Depending on how you need to set-up a screen you would have to add a monitor stand, circa £45 for the one for the ART cockpit.

Wheel pedals, etc will depend on your platform(s).

Logitec G923's go for around £300, Thrustmaster T300 for around the same are solid options if you need console support (just get the right one for your console), both also offer cheaper options as well. If you're on PC only or PC/Xbox then the Moza R3 is a no-brainer as its a solid DD set-up that's going for around £350 right now.
