I didint say that GT have nor will have crapy looking body kit, but your sentence sounded like you only read the part where real life body kit where going to be included in the game, my bad for thinking this about you and sorry if I offense you in any way ;)

None taken...but I was emphasizing the quality of kits that might be availble. I did just gloss over PD making their own. I have a bad habit of picking and choosing what I pull out of a topic.:sly:

Hmmm...more tracks ("a couple (tracks) you can think of that are still not included in GT."), more car types (midgets!), way more visual customization, more graphical goodness, DFP compatibility...I guess I should quit buying 1:18 scale diecasts and start a PS3/GTHD fund. :scared:

As I have said many, many many, many many many many times, bodykits will be essential for doing racing modifications to your cars. I'm hoping that this doesn't just give the tuners big joy, but also ushers in a whole new era of racing mod.

Add one part triple strength weight reduction.

Add many parts of performance upgrading to match racing specs.

Add several parts of aerodynamic body panels and tailwings.

Add a high definition paint shop with 16 million colors, many varieties of special paint including metalflake and chameleon, vinyls, alphabets, numerals, product decals and national flags, along with the ability to paint rims, wheels and sections of windshields.

Equals one seriously mean, unique race car!

I watched some video a week ago and the discussion (which did not include Yamauchi) was about how much work went into the graphics, and "how real it is". That's great, and exactly what I expect from an HD GT, but so far that's all we've seen evidence of. Aside from some on-screen text and a few quotes, there's no proof of how good any of these other improvements are. Granted, we need a whole new, unreleased platform to see this, and a game that won't be out for 10 months, but I firmly stand in the "I'll believe it when I see it" camp...including the delivery date. ;)

Well, how do you get proof of anything on a pre-release game? You watch videos and you read reviews of game journalists who have hands on experience. Isn't that what we've had so far?

I've been very impressed with what Kaz and the lads have been able to do with a few months work, and expect great things when the disc hits the shelves, in whatever form GT HD takes.

Here's my thing. I'm not wanting PD to rush something that isn't complete and of PD quality (remember GT2 and perhaps even GT3?). Most great games are usually delayed anyways. All the good or hyped-up games are usually delayed including that "Zelda: Twilight Princess," I think the HALO series has been delayed at times, Forza's been delayed, Duke Nukem Forever is taking forever, and whoever can forget Malice? Malice was supposed to show off the capabilities of the XBOX, but it came out as worthless crap. So I'm not going to call for someone to step down at Polyphony Digital just so someone else can promise and meet a certain date. Don't let that horrible "E" word (expectations) drive you about a certain game. If they meet the deadline they set or are within the deadline, that's fine. If they are over by a long shot, that's fine as well.

Some of the material in this thread is what I want to discuss in another GTHD thread. So stay tuned.
