To be honest, the thing about ports seems kinda fake. Everything else looks pretty true, though.
They had to make a site for that?
DWAErm... so I'll put one or two games on a stupid memory stick?
DWAor I'll buy a $200 4gb hd that burns up more batt life?
DWAehh... Either way, what games are there again?

If you can only fit one or two games on your stupid memory stick, I'll go ahead and say I don't think it's the memory stick that's stupid.
What a stupid statement. The Datel 4GB HD comes with a better than standard PSP battery.
I hate proprietary crap, I don't use the memory stick for anything else, wtf would I buy an over priced one just for the PSP? lame...
DWABecause the PSP isn't big enough
DWAand oh yeah... 2 more game. whoopie...!
Oh, I'm sure it is, in fact, true (maybe the percentages will be off, but the point will be the same). It just seems wrong to me without bothering to look it up.I know the person who wrote that (semi) personally. He's an excellent writer and everything is true to the best of his knowledge.

Duċk;2718686I forgot to add this to the feature list:
- Better battery lasts longer, 'nuff said.
- Faster loading UMD games now supposedly load faster.
- Built-in 64MB Memory self explanatory.
The 64MB memory isn't usable to store stuff. It's RAM, IIRC.
I'd imagine a normal A/V out would take up too much space. Probably a proprietary plug.so how does the video out work? is it the same Multi AV that all the home consoles use or is it something you need to buy specific cables for?
There appears to be some confusion about the PSP Lite's battery life. The system can go up to 8-10 hours ... but only if it's using the battery from the regular PSP. What?
The upcoming PSP Lite will include a smaller battery for the smaller system. The battery that's included with the system will run for about 5 hours while gaming. However, if you have the battery from your original PSP, you'll be able to get 8-10 hours. The problem with this solution? The battery will bulge out of the system. Sony will offer a new backplate for those interested in adding the old battery to the new system.
I imagine it will be like my wife's Sony portable DVD player. The A/V in/out (it works for both) looks like two mini headphone jacks, one for video (yellow) and one for audio (white). The audio then splits in to the red and white composite and the video becomes the yellow composite. When hooked up to a standard television I can't tell a difference in the quality from regular composite cables.I'd imagine a normal A/V out would take up too much space. Probably a proprietary plug.
We have a portable DVD player with the same cables so you can use dual screens (the video quality is trash on the second screen, though, so we never use it), and while that would work in theory, that is not a component hookup (as you said). And I can't see Sony would sell the PSP with 4 plug holes sticking out of it, so I still say it will be a proprietary piece.I imagine it will be like my wife's Sony portable DVD player.
