No rush, qualify whenever you can, there'll always be someone available.

Actually, you are probably better off not drinking coffee. It's a diuretic, it makes you urinate what fluids you have and dehydrates you. That would probably lead to heat stroke faster than not drinking anything because of the double fluid loss through sweat and having to pee at the same time.

read above this has already been discussed and you are incorrect.

Can someone explain to me what the 2,06/2,07 update did to the physics?
Does the weight of the car feel more present so to speak?
Cause I think it felt heavier in the front during braking and turn-in, and also the weight transfer felt more..

Just found out I was running the Vette on Sport Softs! No wonder why I was 6 seconds off the pace! D'oh!!

Don't think it did anything to the physics though it does feel a bit better since the force feedback was improved.

The wheel feels a lot heavier. Expect to understeer more until you get used to it. I had to lower my Force Feedback level to 1 for a few days in order to acclimate myself

I always run it at 4, but it lets my wheel do more of the feedback since the one they improved was the "generic" profile which runs the older DFP non-specific wheels like my fanatec (IIRC the fantec GT3 actually reports itself to GT5 as a DFP to guarantee compatibility). I noticed it right away but it was quite easy to get used to.

I was skeptical when I read the change log but it's an improvement; feels like my DFP did on the PC. Bit more resolution and non-linearity in the force delivery. I could see that making the cars or steering feel heavier.

Today (Saturday) I would like to go to qualification.
Can someone tell me in advance time (GMT) when the lounge is open?

Have a nice day

There isn't a specific time when Qualifying lounges are open, if you want to Qualify now I could come and watch. If you want to get some more practice first just post later on when you are ready to go and I'm sure a steward will come watch you as soon as they can.

You'll probably see few practice/qualifying rooms up later today anyway ;)

Go Go Gadget Car!! ;)

Just 8 cars qualifyed?
I wish I had the time to day to steward in order to witness this..

It's gonna be a mad dash for qualifying tomorrow.

All-day-long x)

Is there a room open now? I'm all warmed up, but not as fast as I was yesterday'

@ Gorsad:
You Running this one buddy?

Yea, I'm probably going to finish this series out too. All week practice is worth it for a 2hr endurance race 👍. I just hope I can qualify for the races? How often do they race these events?

I'm setting up a practice/qualy room now.

EDIT: I'm ready to qualify, if a steward would be nice enough to hop in.

EDIT EDIT: Done qualifying. Thanks for watching my run, jtv. 👍

I'd like every one that's viewing this thread and near their PS3 to try to log in to PSN and let us know if it works.

Down for me too. Telling me to change my password which I think I'm right in saying is the same message being displayed as it was a while a go when PSN was down.

I should be able to qualify in the next 3 hours, if PSN lets me that is.

Can't get in either...

It either gives me a 8071053D error code or shows me a message saying my password isn't valid anymore and I have to change it.
