I felt that way about Mazda until i clocked over 1000+ hrs between all the GT titles, now i love this place. It might just be the hard sport tires and no abs that's the problem. Plus no downforce too. I turn my 1st laps tonight so ill report back later.

I've only driven with ABS but I don't remember the car having understeer. I've done maybe 5-6 laps at most right when the car came out. Was in 36's if I remember - never got a proper 1st corner.

Edit: If I can make it, I'll enter. It's just very far from race time for me to know.

I was interested in entering this competition, so gave the car a few laps around Laguna to check my pace. (With a DS3) Started with a 36, 2nd lap was a 35 and 3rd lap a 34, but never improved beyond 34's for a further 4-5 laps. However, this run just confirms how much I dislike the handling on this car, I think it's horrible In my opinion however, it has nothing to do with the tyres. Other cars handle fantastically on the very same piece of rubber.

I too wouldn't enjoy racing it for 39 laps, but that's not the OP's fault, I just really don't like the car, that's my own issue. Even with the brake bias set rediculously low and using a bit of accelertor under braking as the brakes begin to pinch, I still think it too easily locks up and becomes unstable.

I'd like ot join something similar in the future though and will keep an eye out.

Yea so I tried to control this C7 Vette but no bueno man, the no abs is killing me!
Litchi for handling that using any ds3 config'

Out of the box I got a few 1:40's and 1:41's. It's fully broken in now. I'll try tonight. Turn 1 is make it or break it.

I fly through the dog leg staying left, then move to the right white line before turn one and hammer the brakes to the floor. I don't turn the wheel at all till she slows right down. Then ease into the turn. I brake early folks, so watch out for me!

I'm sorry Litch but after some testing I was hopeful that I could make it without ABS but I have to say no... even if availability is not a problem I struggle too much without ABS. You can remove me from the entry list

Yes I tried with 2/1 even 1/1 or 1/2 but it was a mess!

Try 3/0 or 4/0. Those are my usual no ABS settings and it's what I've tested this car with and it seems to work. I ran a high (for me) 7/2 at Monza but Monza is dead flat. If you feel the back end kick out on some corners, a slight bit of throttle will usually cure that.

Don't forget 0 is not 0 in the world of PD. Put your BB to 0/0 and the brakes still work. Think of it as 0=1, 1=2 etc. So 2/0 is 3/1 or 75/25, close to a real life BB.

Finally got the car downloaded, going to test it out without ABS soon, took it for a run while waiting for a series to start, nice choice of car,

Might enter - depends on how well I do with no ABS - not a fan of the brakes on this car at all.

I'm using a DS3 with this setup;
X - Gas
Square - Brake
L3 - Steering

I could use the R3 stick for gas and brake, but when I do that, I slap a rubber band on it to make braking more resistant - which doesn't work with no ABS. Would be using a G25, but the thing needs to be rewired before I can use it again. Was able to get a 1'36 with no ABS and full HP though - not sure how well I'm doing.

You can submit times as far as you want mate. It's just a practice leaderboard, not a qualifier leaderboard.
It's a cool way to see where you are in the field
