Is there room for me to race tonight? Probs won't have time to qualify so will start at back, I shall register :)

I won't be at home on time to open the room tonight. Can someone do it please?
I should join around 19.30-45 UTC. And if in the worst case I'm not here on time, don't hesitate to start guys.

Considering Spurgy DC'ed from my room last week, I prefer someone else set it up. I can do it as a last resort.

I have an ok connection if needed. 30 down and 3 up. Not great, but don't have many problems usually.

I will open lounge too , ive hosted d2 races before so if you guys want me to try let me know

Created a room for now

I'll join you in about 20 minutes.

If anyone else wants to join, please let me know so I can add you to the grid. Plenty of space today.

I am withdrawing from the series, sorry Will.
I had hoped to make the races but as things stand I just don't have the time for GT5 at the mo. good luck guys, see you in the next series

Thanks for letting me race guys was loads of fun will certainly be back next week and hopefully my car will be fully run in now :)

Thanks Niop for a great race lag sucks and it had to be luck it happened at turn 1 couldn't turn right hold lap :(. Then I ran out of fuel cause I wasn't really concentrating when I stopped :(

For those that missed it, Monza was... well, let's just say this was nothing like Madrid:

Had to cut down a four second gap to Spurgy and fend off Skeng at the same time. I just don't know how I did it, and I'm sure Spurgy's asking the same thing.

It was a very shocking end - photo finish end to a one hour race. Great race up at the front guys. You are all great drivers! 👍

Anyone could explain me how the fuel wear works in GT5.....I used a long transmission setup and I made the change gears very far of the red light limite and anyway my fuel wear was worst than yours, I don't understand the logic!

About the race, the first stint was very close between Rich and Spurgy.....then, in my second pit stop, I selected 60ltrs but the game refueled full tank (100ltrs) and that was "good bye to the leadership"!

To save fuel you need to not use full throttle so much, as far as I know, the revs make no difference. So the people who saved fuel like me, were half throttling in your slipstream. :)

Maybe that....I was cutting the air, so I guess probably my fuel wear was worst....but this happened in other races too where I was not first...anyway, I hope this and other things be more realistic in GT6.

I was watching Silverstone race 1 I think, from other on board view cam, not yours, and I could watch you made a good race.....I raced in the same conditions, not wet, not dry, in the middle, with slick tires and I think is the best and fun way to race with formulas. Seems to be a nice car the Formula Jedi but, it looks like a little unsafe the head of the driver, if I race there, I would like to ask for more protection there. (I hope you can understand my poor English).

What cars do you race, got any videos? :) And in the same race as the one you watched there was a 100mph crash, both drivers were completely fine, so they're quite safe. I can see what you're saying about the head protection, but I don't feel too exposed in the cars and usually major incidents are quite rare. :)

Drafting someone is the only consistent method of saving gas. Otherwise, there's no point building a setup based on fuel mileage. Just look at Spurgy's tank compared to mine near the end of stint two. I went with a full tank and all but caught up, but lost the extra I put in by doing so.

In retrospect, adding 60 liters would've been even worse. No way you would've finished without another stop.

I am gonna post a few photos about what I am saying....I think that category should apply the head protection like F1 cars (from 1996). Your heads are too exposed, I raced in Formula Renault Argentina, not anymore because the money...and our formula cars were similar in that zone, then they applied the protections like F1 cars, it is a silliness and improve the security.

And Rich, I tested and 60ltrs is more than I needed in my tests! But you know, GT5 is GT5 lol.
