The ps3 still wont connect to the net?

It connects to the internet just fine, but it won't sign in to PSN.

I tried wired (usual) and wireless, resetting modem/router, PS3, internet connection, the whole 9 yards, totally baffled ATM.

No, and no.
Everything exactly as it was, worked everyday I can remember, now it will not. I usually don't let it time out, but that's what it's doing, essentially, is constantly timing out before it gets connected. I managed to get it to "disconnect" twice before it was fully signed in, but that is all.

Do an internet connection test from network settings on the PS3. See what that says.

Dom, try manually changing your PS3's DNS servers to well-known public ones - like google:

8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4

I've currently got mine manually set to my ISP's primary, and a google one as secondary. GRC's DNS test would be good, but I've been lazy.

Netalyzer's results might also be informative.

Oh, Will. I remember the time, because it was rather rounded.

1:25.650, it was. The second lap was... 1:25.9xx . I don't remember exactly.

With the problem with Alex's time on the doc. I was hosting and stewarding GTP_cicua qualy. Edited the doc but it appears that Will was editing it too at the same time. Google docs produced a server error and the line was lost.

Moral of the story... Only one person edit at a time. Preferably the person stewarding the qualy.

No problem guys. Fortunately, I remembered the time.

By the way, for those guys worried about the Lexus; this is a Lexus track, some good drivers (not counting me) are in. I also trained at Laguna like crazy because of the WSGTC S3 finals. And Josh, for instance, should be using a similar car to me, because I helped him with the setup. And I think our driving is rather similar, so it makes sense.

When we get to the faster tracks, you'll see us suffer xD.

And the best time now is not a Lexus . My 25.6 was a one-of-a-kind lap. I can't have that pace. But I believe Simon does have a faster pace, so...
