The race dates list in the OP is somewhat odd and confusing, and not in any specific order, are they correct or has something been overlooked?

Just thought I'd post in case it got missed in the other thread a while ago - I can't make the race this week, but will be back for round 2 :)

Could we get a steward in the room nissman created in the next hour or sooner please

Also i remember once you guys were discussing changing qualy to 3 flying laps , i would surely prefer this . Is this still up for debate ?

Fixed, just copied and pasted backwards on a few of them, thanks.

Nah, sticking with 2 flyers, we used 3 for GATE and it was inconsequential, just made qualifying longer.

To be fair, we did have fast tire wear so in most cases, you really only had two good laps.

Even so, we have a large field, multi-spec vehicles and the fact that most people wait until the last day to Q. It can get quite busy for the stewards so adding another lap only adds to their workload, maybe too much.

Updates qualifying officials list and rules:

Race and qualifying officials

Marshal - our eyes in the race and what used to be known as qualifying "stewards." They can report incidents they are not involved in. All officials above this position are also considered acting Marshals in that they can also run qualifying sessions.

;OwensRacing (OwensRacing)
;Petros (tpe_rus)
;Sail IC (johnkiller2)
;SkengD
;PhaedrusSocrate
;nissman

;Andil

Steward - only a select few number of members that will work with each other in order to investigate and settle matters of incidents during races, if a steward is involved in the incident the rest of us will make a new thread in which we will debate the details without them. They were chosen by experience and able dedication and the list can change at any time. Contact them or the Core members in order to follow up on your incidents during racing.

Core members - these are your administrators, have final say on all incidents (again, unless they're involved in one of them), and dedicate themselves to driving the future of Pure in its racing and its expansion. In JGTS we will be the rule makers, discipliners, and will be the ones responsible for completing all penalty reviews for a race and posting the summary for them in the main GTP thread.

Qualifying
BWhYUy3.png

  • Live week-long official observed sole qualifying
  • One outlap, two timed laps, one chance per week only, besides 'Super Pole Position' rules.
  • The deadline for qualifying is 2 hours prior to the race start.
  • All qualifying must be done in public rooms.
[*]Pre-qualifying specification checks must be performed before every qualifying attempt.
[*]Team mates may under no circumstance qualify eachother.
  • Only selected PURE officials may observe and record qualifying runs/times.
  • Stewards/marshals do not need to have another official present in order to qualify, only an observing member.
  • All times must be submitted to both the PURE results mini-site as well as posted in this thread for confirmation.
  • Always save your replay in case your laps come under review for cross reference.

These are the new qualifying marshals:

;PhaedrusSocrate
;nissman

Best thing to do Joe here is open a public room and post room number and ask for a steward here in thread .

Just woke up from a nap, so I'll run a few laps tonight. Please post a room number here if you need a steward.

I'll be online in a bit. Still have about 10 miles to drive to get my car fully broken in.

Am I the only one who keeps hitting the spot on the exit of turn one where the walls jumps out at you?

I've done it so many times now and it's getting really annoying.

I get pretty close to it but manage to avoid it most times , i hit it on lap 12 of a tyre test yesterday . Worried about the race and heavy damage .

Since i was the host, there was no real way to prove i was entering the track during the HSV checks without taking pictures:
