Enough.

There is no favouritism at all. I'm aware of Paul's internet issues, at 10 past the hour, we started, but the grid was messed up. So we had to restart then Andy disconnects, so we wait another 10 minutes, taking us up to 30 minutes past. When I saw you went offline, and didn't come back on after 5 minutes, I had to start the race, otherwise some people would not be able to make the finish due to the delay. 30 minutes was way too long to wait, unfortunately you were the unlucky one GT5 decided to kick at just the wrong time. We will never have that sort of delay again. It was a chain reaction starting with the late qualis, IMMORTAL's DQ, and the DC's/messed up start. Next week we will not have these problems.

A shame to have to come up with a post like this, because it was a brilliant race. I'll update with results and a report tomorrow when I've had sleep. Good night, no more fighting please.

@Immortalpilot:
The car must be kept stock. The only upgrades you are permitted to buy are the Chassis Reinforcement, Torque Distributing Centre Differential, and any of the maintenance features in GT Auto (Oil Change, Engine Rebuild etc). Anyone running with upgrades that are not permitted will be caught out and penalised accordingly. However you can tune the car as much as you want in terms of setup (Aero, Suspension etc).

I think it's clear. No?

FYI, this is how we check who use mid/high turbo or not:

This is the turbo jauge of the RX7 TC but it's exactly the same thing for the R32 TC.

Power - 523hp @ 6600rpm (Broken-In)
Weight - 1145kg
Torque - 64kgfm @ 4800rpm
Drivetrain - 4WD
Power/Weight - 330W/kg
PP - 594 (Broken-In)

Tony, this is a quote from the OP. It's Clearly states "The car must be kept stock". There's no excuse really, if you weren't sure of the rules you should of asked someone.

Really interesting!!!

Last question:What does it mean in the regulations:"vehicle tuning not restricted".....did not see anything about turbo 1,2 or 3.....

In case if satisfactory answer I will shut my mouth...........SORRY

Hey Jordan.

I'm so sorry that I did not quali or race, but we had a huge power outage in my area from yesterday 11.00 AM (GMT) to now.. :(

Hope you guys had an awesome race! 👍

Hey Litchi... where did you get that cool video? :sly:

He told me he got from some EDE people, nice guys, quite the scholars.

Thank you for putting up the race time for me Biffy. I won't be missing anymore races.

Thank you toyotsupra for the kind words. :)

To the gentlemen who said there is no one with the name "supra" in it. He is my Team Mate, toyotsupra. Had a good laugh.

Look forward to racing with you all next Monday. 👍

Little race report:

Started 7th, had a great launch of the line but went to the outside of turn 1 and had to go out wide as I was scared of contact but all was going but ended up in 7th still.
Got past a few people can't remember names as my memory is very poor but about lap 9 I came up to the big battle for 2nd following wge.
Litchi blinked first and went into the pits on lap 10. The rest of us (biffy, supra, wge and me) all went in on lap 12 I lost a couple of seconds but I think Buffy and supra lost the most as they were held up be traffic in the pits.
Wge escaped and biffy/supra caught up with me. We battled all the way till the very end. Some great racing between all of us.
I won the battle for the last podium place woohoo.

Also would like to say the lapped traffic did extremely well. They didn't make drastic moves just kept their line until we could find a safe place round. Great work

Watched abit of the replay some great racing last night from everyone :D.

I had a good few battles at the back which was fun early on, but didn't really have the pace to push for anything better than that. Overall It's probably the most fun I've had at fuji but I don't think I'll be going back until August (CALM) :P.

Hopefully I'll be better a luguna :boggled:

Also congrats to Twissy for the Win 👍

Ps I don't wana be a reserve, is it possible to go full-time :)

The race results are confusing to say the least.

haha yeah, don't worry about that, it didn't like the numbers I put in so it's up to Tim now to fly to the rescue and sort it out :P

When it's been fixed I'll have a detailed post up later.

My first PURE expirience :) and altough I was not anywhere near you guys, I still had a lot of fun. I hope i could get a fine tune for the next races as i was running the car 'stock'.

Got lapped two times by most of the drivers and i even think 'Twissy' passed me 3 times (sorry btw for the last one, did not expect you ....) I must admit it was hard for me, I do not mind driving without aids, but on this circuit the help of the driving line would have meant a big difference as Fujy Gt was quite new to me.

Looking forward to next race and thanks again (Biffy and other PURE members) for having me here...

I will give me a tune if you need it. I'm not great at tunes but it will be a start for you...

That would be nice, i was strugglin' with my front tyres, if front and rear would have worn togheter i would have been able to do it on a 1 stop strategy, but now my fronts where 3/4 gone afther 14 laps....

You also need a good transmission as your top speed was very low. Shift near 8000 RPM.

But I'd rather give you me entire tune, got a 1'34 with it.;)

You're going to be everyone's new best friend if you share your tune Wes :sly:

Also Green, sure you can go full-time ;)

Performance points: 594
Power: 523 BHP
Weight: 1145 KG
Power limiter: 100%
Ballast: 0 KG
Aerodynamics: 20/50

Gearing:
First put the final gear to 4.900, then put max speed all the way to the left and adjust as following (tranny trick):
1st gear: 3.797
2nd gear: 2.880
3rd gear: 2.320
4th gear: 1.945
5th gear: 1.670
6th gear: 1.456
Final gear: 2.500
Max speed: 180 km/h

Drivetrain: (Still experimenting)
LSD Front: 5/12/5
LSD Rear: 5/12/5
Torque distibuting centre differential: 30/70

Suspension:
Ride height: 25/0
Spring rate: 15.0/12.0
Dampers (extension): 7/5
Dampers (compression): 7/5
Anti-roll bars: 7/5
Camber angle: 2.5/1.5
Toe angle: 0.00/-0.15

Brake balance: 4/7
ABS: 10

Notes:
Shift at 7900 RPM. The reason I set the top speed so high is because the car only loses power and torque after 6600 RPM (credits to jtv90069 who mentioned both of these facts to me).

Can anyone explain why it's faster to shift below the redline, this is the 1st car I've drove in GT5 like this. It's not like the car is spinning the wheels in the lower gears so you would short shift to get more traction. Is it something to do with the low turbo kicking in below 8000RPM?

Yes, but it can also be the engine itself which loses power after 6600 RPM.

Some statistics then:

Low RPM turbo:
Max. Power: 523 BHP/6600 RPM
Max. Torque: 66 kgfm/4800 RPM
Mid RPM turbo:
Max. Power: 590 BHP/6200 RPM
Max. Torque: 73 kgfm/5300 RPM
High RPM turbo:
Max. Power: 620 BHP/8300 RPM
Max. Torque: 62 kgfm/5800 RPM
