Question about car's info

Hi guys, it's my first post here and I just had a question:

Where is the expanded info for the cars on this (GT4) game?
What I mean is all the development history about the design and mechanical features of any particular car. Every GT game has had this feature but I can not find any info on GT4. I don't mean the specs but the couple of paragraphs of insight into every car that PD put on every other game.
Or does this game lacks those bits of data and trivia?

It's not there, and it was a feature I missed as well. It's back in GT5 though, so at least they got something right.

Yeah its weird, it's in every game except GT4, and i JUST realized it

Gentlemen,

I do not know if it was available everywhere, but when the game was a little newer, there was a companion book available that contained much of the information you are seeking. It also included track maps and a list of all the available cars with prices.
