I can't hold a drift....

I start drifting then my tires catch and i swing around the other way.....then i end back up to my peeling out.....

I NEEED TIPPPPPPPPSSSS.....

so um, help me out.........this sounds like rambling.....

on the peeling out, still with Sims which give no traction, u need to ease the accel, dont stomp it down, 2ndly, with the power, its better to use under powered cars such as the AE-86, but if u need alittle more pawer, the highest u should go is a stage 2 turbo, usually no turbo is needed 4 a AE, and 3rdly, the tires catching, im not really sure what u mean by goin the other way, r u loosing ur angle or r u spinning out, if ur loosing angle, try to change gears and raise ur RPMs, but also u shouldnt counter steer and go into full opposite lokc all the time either, if ur spinning out, ur either not counter steering enuf, too much countering, or ur jsut flooring it

sim tire drifting is difficult, just like drifting in real life. .if you want that just get a 4WD car with 1000hp and supersoft tires, you'll be drifting before you can say "initial D". but the best drifters here use sim tires. so its up to you ;)

LanEvo: Please stop saying "best drifters use sim tyres".
That means worst drifters use slicks.
I don't want to start a war (discussion or whatever), just are different ways to do the same, if you consider that one is difficult and other not so difficult, it's your opinion.
But don't look down things that you don't do (or don't want to do). Ok?? ;)

no sheron he doesnt mean like that . he just xplain it . as i know if u use sim its more feeling than slick ( it doesnt mean your style is bad ) ... because slick make u feel like real u drive in cars ...
slick al so good....so dont be angry slick drifters ...:D

im just saying if you look at the best drifters.. CudaMan, TruenoAE86, Thio, bustwave...guess what kind of tires they use? sim. toe is like camber, only on a different plane. if you are looking from the top of a car towards the ground, toe IN would look like / \ and toe out would be \ / if you make the front 1, and the rear the other, it makes the car naturally want to drive in a circle. this will help the car maintain a drift...

/____ \ the angle of the tire? correct me if im wrong. and if i am then my settings have been really odd    :D

you're thinking of track. track adjusts the width of the tires from the chassis..this would increase traction and stability, but it isn't an option in GT3 ;)

you are backwards ;) plus there is no such thing as positive camber...when you have a higher number in GT3, you have more negative camber...here is negative camber //___\\ and that is what you will always see, never \\___//...
