To be honest, if the rear wheel covers were removed and the build quality was better, I would daily driver the crap out of the red wagon MX-5. I have always loved MX-5's but I can't get one becase i need the storage space.

The build quality on the wagon one is probably pretty tight, if I had to guess. It doesn't look like much but it's probably screwed together pretty well. Those crazy hypermilers generally know what they're doing.
