And this is how you ruin two solid piece of work. However the more I look at that Defender...the more I want it. Just give it a better paintjob, better headlights and better wheels, I'd drive it.
EVEN THOUGH, I'm aware that's a vehicle you're meanign to drive offroad, you know me well - I got my guilty pleasures....

If you like that sort of look without the garish paintjob, have a look at the Land Rover Simba and Tangi. They were used in Northern Ireland during the Troubles, and evolved from 110s to deal with riots. The side skirts and bumpers, for example, were to prevent barrels being rolled under the car and immbolising it.

Oh good grief...

The body and chassis have obviously been shortened, but the chassis appears to have been shortened more with the way those ridiculous wheels sit in the front fenders. The turning radius must be massive to avoid rubbing at the trailing end.

Well-done chops don't necessarily bother me, but well-done this most certainly is not...just look at that crown in the roof.

Oh and Ford F100 rear fenders really don't suit the Chevy body, but they suit it even less when the left-hand fender is used on the right.

Edit: Just noticed the unfinished weld where the gas filler neck used to be behind the door.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it's the same guy that had the very stupid Celica from a few years ago.

Yeah, exactly that one. Basically the one that kickstarted the whole extreme camber thing that meant people went full retard to break the internet.

At this point, what is the point in having a lifted truck?
Though lifted trucks are not my style, many of them are pretty well done. Even if they never even touch a surface other than pavement, they aren’t entirely useless. Some people like the way they look as well as their high “owning the road” driving position.

Yes I understand and agree that many lifted trucks do have purposeful intentions, but I was really focusing on the example above; probably should have quoted it. What a contradictory use of suspension. I'd assume it has to be quite stiff to avoid the front splitter from severing itself come any bump in the road. I'm not even sure what they are trying to achieve with this setup.
