Yer, that beautiful pink RX-7 is a Time Attack car and being fully stripped on the inside, it can run the Tsukuba in 55 seconds...

This is a car owned by a dude I know, to make fun of ricers. Fake, but still funny, and definantly questionable. Note the huge wing in the back.

Sorry about the crappy picture, but the flash wasn't on and the batteries died before I could turn it on.

The Smart? Are you sure? I've been in many Smarts and they accelerate nicely and quickly. Although they accelerate to a city speed of about 60 kph or so.

Yes, they are pretty slow, not helped by apparently very crap sequental gearbox. Only the Brabus version is properly nippy enough:

Brabus:
0-60 mph (secs) 12.3
Max speed (mph) 93

Standard:
0-60 mph (secs) 15.5
Max speed (mph) 85

On topic with the thread, I saw this imported Mitsubishi Eclipse yesterday. I've never seen anything so riced in real life before... Huge rear spoiler, side skirts (said Koein, Bose etc etc on it...), large front and rear bumpers, very large wheels ( looked silly with standard brakes ) and purple painwork with vinals all over it. Even the interior was completely changed with a few TV screens in it, Recardo seats, racing steering wheel and cream plastic covering all the interior. It looked HIDEOUS. The one time I didn't bring my camera something like that appears... :(

Not when they're lugging around 10% of their dry weight in added stereo equipment.

Dude, those big truck thingies are pretty cool. I might actually LIKE them if they used less than a gallon of gas every quarter-mile.
