I haven't been to Julep in a while... I know the last time I went it was pretty crazy, it looked like Sanair on Friday nights (you know, with idiots doing cutoff shows and burnouts everywhere). About 2 years ago a bunch of guys got tired of Julep and went over to Marché Central, but that didn't last too long. I'm at Napi pretty often, in fact I should be there this Saturday, providing the weather's nice.

I know exactly which car you're talking about, but I can't find pics either. He's been at SCP a few times, and at Darknights over in Toronto.

A few summers ago, the Lafleur's out in Pointe Claire was wicked popular. We had some really good turnouts that summer, but all of it fizzled, like usual.

There are some other pretty popular cars as well, that rediculous VW Golf-turned-pickup-truck thing that I see all of the time, always changing the paint colour...

If you ever go to the Ferrari night on Grand Prix weekend, don't forget to stay around til they all roll out (a bit after midnihgt), it sounds and looks spectacular.

Ah, yes, the tri-turbo pile of garbage... Last time I saw it in person it was baby blue.

Dyno's around 400whp, and runs mid 12s. At least 70k invested, find what's wrong here.

How could so many people have such a bad taste in what looks good? It's like they just take anything they can get that will fit their car, in any colour, and stick it on until they can no longer do so. 99% of the time a 1 or 2 colour paint scheme will look 100 times better then a 3, 4, or even 5 colours on 1 car. Yet people will have blue decals on a red car with a black hood and an orange interior.

The Japanese will modify anything.
I have pictures of an exotic car meet in which many Ferraris, and Lamborghinis and others were modified, but nothing past rice.

I can remember this one 348. It was a monster on the dyno.

That Biscayne really isn't bad... I think it's the most tasteful car in this whole thread . I don't like the clear taillamps though. That is not what I'd do with a '60 Biscayne (Can you say 'big block'?)
