based on the rest of the upgrade I wouldn't put it past them

hopefully it's just very unfinished and will receive bigger tires soon, even then it will still be questionable IMO

He needs 2 1/2 ton rockwell axles before bigger tires. That, and something other than stock leaves and airbags. I'mma say Knight Stalker nitros or Custer Coilovers

-> Completely ruined a nice GTO. :indiff:

I haven't been here for a looong while so not sure what's been going on in the previous hundreds of pages, but I just figuratively trod in this turd...

This is what really annoys me. Projects that people pour bags of cash into that are obviously doomed to enter the annals of monstrousity from the start. How does stuff like this get from a biro sketch from the inside of a thirteen year old's textbook to the road.

Ok, this thread is getting rediculous, it went from posting "ricer" type vehicles to posting clean cars like these, What exactly is wrong with them.? Infact there both in the imports thread, And not to mention that one huge posts that consisted of stock supras and 300Zx...not to mention the mustang...so tasteful car mods that actually look nice are questionable. 👎

It seems it used to be a perfectly good Honda Integra. I just hope it wasn't a Type-R. It simply wouldn't deserve this treatment.

Personally I find those both questionable clean or not, wrong tire fitment just annoys me to no end. Doesn't say how many people have to find it questionable. Also which mustang are you referring to?

And you're quoting posts almost two months old.

I still play NFSU:II. That said, I usually eschew the neons for reasons up to and including my retinas are still working.

That car is like 10 years old, it landed right in the middle of the ricer fad after the F&F movies. What really disgusts me is the Macross Valkirye treatment. COME. ON.

Also, that Mazda 3 looks way stupid with such poked wheels.

.

I wonder if that would look right on a 240..

Most of the ricers in my area are mexicans, to be honest. Most asians have JDM cars. But the mexicans here have stick on hood/roof scoops, stick on side vents, and one size fits all bodykits that just need zip-ties to stick on the car!

that sounds like Mexico, awright :dopey:

While this is definitely tacky, the nostalgia it causes me to feel means that I don't think I can hate it. It looks perfectly like an Underground promo-car, and had you shown me this during my early-teens I would have explained to you that it was one of the most amazingly modified cars out there. How times have changed (or how little my youth forgets it).

EDIT: Just saw this on a car classifieds site:

I don't know what is more jocular; the fact that the owner wants 40k AU for it, or that he allegedly dropped 10k to have the 'batmobile' bodykit fitted...

^^^ OMG why do that to a Diablo of all cars.... Buy a freakin' Fiat 500 if you want to do this kind of crap to it.... Must be owned by some girl or something...

Price-tag? 85k AU. This an example where the inside is nice but outside is rice (it does have an impressive list of high-quality internal performance upgrades).

No, it was a guy. But funnily enough, the presenters on the show asked him why he did it and he said that he had always had a thing for sparkling jewels. The presenters teased him for saying something you'd expect a girl to say.

The steering wheel is completely covered in Swarovski crystals (which have a habit of coming off in your hands when driving!). The interior and even the insides of the headlight housings are lined with Luis Vuitton trim. Utter madness.
